My ‘source’ isn’t SD so I’d say yes lol

Sorry to keep harping on but this doesn't make sense to me. So you're saying the majority shareholder of the company which owns the club is telling a local radio presenter that he's "selling" the club but your source who isn't the majority shareholder has told you nothing is happening? Can you see why it's confusing?

Good point, clearly put.

What is your opinion on the William Storey shenanigans?

Honesty have no idea. It can’t be to just sell energy drinks as you can’t buy one in any retail store and anyone outside of Sunderland probably hasn’t got a clue he’s even interested in us

I don’t think he’s a SD plant etc

I can only think that he’s trying to pretend he can afford us, is still in the ‘big leagues’ after the F1 farce and probably hopes that being ‘linked’ with Sunderland (his own doing by the way) will give him some brownie points in future business deals as “wasn’t he the bloke who was going to buy Sunderland? He must be worth something” etc

or he’s actually going to buy us, everything he says is legit and then all bets are off ...

but similar to the take over being discussed on here, the deadline always changes to keep fans engaged but the finish line is never reached

Charlatan is my view

Exactly... but have you not see the way SD has handled things over the last 2 years

But SD isn’t saying anything, the local radio presenter is. SD’s hands are clean as himself or the club have made no announcement regarding any take over... he’s just sat back and let social media take over, we get to the start of the season with no deal, the deadline is extended (as it has been since March, think he blamed Covid which on the face of things is obviously a valid Reason) till Oct, then we are hopefully doing well in the league... talk of selling goes quiet as we are doing well and SD can aim for promotion till our next blip and the pitch forks are out and he’ll string us all along with another story

Dave Jones will know what is going on, and no way will he accept SD bullshitting this takeover. No way.

NQD is storey!!!

once this is over he will remove his beard (scooby do style but blame 'the americans' rather than the meddling kids) reveal his true self and continue thinking he is still the head man at safc despite being more in debt than a smack rat at xmas...meanwhile the americans will keep on slowly removing a '0' from their offer, convince the loser that 'thirty five pounds and fifty pence' is worth more than 'tweny five million' because there are more letters in it.

100% this the club were quick to rubbish Storey by using the local press to say hes not credible. Yet they apparently allow Nick Barnes to talk a load of rubbish about something that isnt happening. I just can’t see it

Story was putting a lot of pressure on the club with his crazy interview. If they hadn’t came out fans would be asking why hasn’t the club been sold to him

because he has no credibility and then the fans view changed on him (which only right as the blokes a fantasist)
