Me and the lad had a bit of a falling out when he left initially. I told him not to get pushed out by ES, not to accept the Far East role as some ambassador for the club as it would end in tears. We still send each other Christmas/birthday cards, and the odd text, but if there’s a chance that disco pants would come back, I’d tell his mother to give him a ring and see what I can sort... but SD needs to go first... maybe next year we’ll see him back
 
After we beat Bradford 4 zip down there, Arca run game, we stopped back a few hours and had a balti with Yorkshire's biggest naan bread...they brought another table for the bread.

Is the 3/10 chance it might not happen just normal 'deals sometimes fall through in negotiations', or is there a chance we might find out someone has been playing games and there is no serious new potential investor involved at the moment as some have posted? I tend not to believe that the club is deliberately putting out misinformation as this could only piss off the fans more. Unless the misinformation was to temper expectations until a deal was finalized. It just seems bizarre that there are two competing rumors at this point. Any ideas where that is coming from? Completely understand if you can't comment - I think we all need to be content with wait and see at this point. But at least the nothing is happening camp seems to have packed up for the time being.

SD is conducting the whole thing. After originally saying it would be done end of Aug/start of season, the new time Frame is end of Oct...

My guess ‘the deal’ goes south, about the same time as the window shuts, official reasons not given (nothing official has been said about the takeover happening now supposedly though so that means nothing)

And the season continues, with SD scrapping through on the bones of his arse praying for promotion
