Yeah sounds about right the EFL are about as much use as a fart in a hurricane they have had the fit and proper test for years and have still allowed dubious owners the right to purchase clubs. They then blame anybody but themselves when things go tits up. Let's not forget these morons allowed clubs to vote to end season last year with only a handful of games to play, told all teams how points would be worked out and then held vote. The same teams who could not afford to finish fixtures last year because NO FANS WERE ALLOWED have been allowed to start this season and magically have managed to play all their fixtures to date. Then to top that off the fantastic idea of a salary cap so all teams can only spend a certain amount no matter how well you can budget your finances. Yeah let's leave these f**kwits to sort out who will be good owners these dickheads can't even do their job right.

Basically Bob knows Marwood, JR and Charlie. Maybe there’s a chance Marwood would get involved as a result of the connection but it’s not possible for no takeover to be happening and someone to be involved in that nothing. So if Bobs info says there’s no takeover then it’s not possible, if Bob knows of a share rejuggle maybe, if info elsewhere is correct and there’s something going on via Donald and Fox then Marwood isn’t. That’s my take on it.

Looks like they are just bringing all the checks up front. Rather than letting a takeover happen and waiting for proof of funds etc.
But like you say love to blame anyone but themselves do the EFL
A bit like the salary cap. If the EFL were remotely competent and properly enforced their own rules they wouldn't need this change.
Not at all I responded ( again) when someone posed a question I knew the answer to, far from being his disciple I just pointed out he knows our current owners and has connections to the club, he has often shown me personally that this is true by giving details of things which have be confirmed again in private or by others on this very forum such as prehab, Magnus and smug.
You'll notice I haven't just defended his every action in the way a disciple would as there's plenty of things said about the bloke I highlighted the things that were said that I know to be untrue.
EFl check to happen during takeover negotiations, maybe the potential new owner new about this and have already had them done
