What did he get right privately?
New signings, the place and time of several meetings between the board and potential new owners, the plan before that to bring on board a new team which included marwood although I don't know if that was FPP pushing for that.

Off the top of me head.

Big mouth Methven spouting off in March, the club will be sold by May. **** all since means the owners are treating the fans with absolute contempt. They are a ****ing disgrace and quite happy for the club to trundle along with no connection between them and us. RAWA asked for a meeting the first week in September, EFL rules means they have to have these meetings and nothing back from they yet. Absolutely appalling and speaks volumes of these greedy, self centred buffoons.

The full regeneration plans have been unveiled today for around the stadium sheepfolds and on the Vaux side, they will be linked by 2 bridges, surely any investors / buyers in the club have got to be looking at this or get involved, commercial future revenues around the stadium will have massive potential......its all pretty impressive stuff, theres a lot of money getting spent in and around Sunderland at the minute - Just not the football club!
Forgive me but looking at the images in the link below, I can't help but feel that those areas will look something like the Byker Wall in a decade or two. Take the trees, the yachts, the beautiful Autumn sunshine, and the 'continental type' locals out of the images and you're left with nothing other than Washington 2020.. you'd think we'd learn from mistakes.
