don't know a great deal about mad bob, i avoided a lot of the 'other takeover' talk on RTG due to the bitching although i obviously read a lot of 'berb knaas' and piss taking out of him type comments...all i wonder is this, IF he really knows things why does he post 'cryptic clues' is it simply so (he hopes) desperate type people will PM him begging to know more and if he actually posted it direct to the forums his inbox would remain dusty?
as was said earlier all this 'i know secret and if you want to be in my gang i will tell you but dont tell the others' crap is getting right on peoples tits and is exactly what causes pointless arguments and complete distrust...if i was given the go ahead to repeat anything i might get told then i would gladly pass the info on, on the other hand, if told to tell no one else and keep it totally to myself i would wonder WTF are you telling me for then...keep it to your feckin self, i don't need to know and will find out in the end anyway...really honestly grow the feck up 'i know something you don't know' went out once i left infant school and i really find it hard that so many grown people, supposedly mature, are still doing it.

So, Marwood? Let's be specific here, let's avoid ambiguity and deflection.
I'm going to give him a bit of leeway here and believe that he trusts Bob so much that he genuinely can't see that quoting something that hasn't happened as proof that Bob is itk won't really work.
I know from my time on rtg that it is very difficult to know what Bob is saying, and I'm sure that he wears a suit with question marks on it and spends his holidays in Gotham City.
Out of respect to people anyone making massive game-changing claims needs to be sure.

No. That not what I've done and I question if you've actually read what I said, in amongst the subject you've brought up I also stated he knew about signings before they happened, that's why I believe he has contacts.
As for the marwood bit, it's been confirmed to me by people on both sides of the fence as it were and it's been publicly discussed by people who have contact regarding the takeover of on this very thread. It's no wonder people do become exasperated and refuse to give information or get upset when anything they say is deemed bullshit before you've heard it.
Maybe try to listen to what's being said before making a response.
Totally this. Even if he is ITK this, “I’ve got a secret” act is pathetic. The fact that he quite clearly is totally clueless yet so desperate to appear ITK makes it even more amusing. No idea why some people seem to convince themselves he is anything other than full of ****e is bizarre. But them some people also think ZZ Pop is a credible bidder.

What I don't understand is, if Marwood is actually happening I can only assume its alongside FPP because as mentioned earlier he's hardly going to come here to work for Donald and be limited to maybe getting us into the championship. And if you're suggesting Bob has mentioned Marwood to you then , again, that's positive. But if that's the case, why does he keep banging on about no takeover being on the cards , and coming across pretty passive aggressive if anyone suggests otherwise? I know it's a mocked phrase, but it's true that "things change" he can't be certain either way if he knows enough to know that FPP are interested
I don't think that's quite true mind. I heard a while ago from someone I trust that there was nothing close. I didn't post his name or owt, and I left out details that would make it obvious where it came from if someone from the club was reading, there were things he told me that were very specific which would likely identify the source. But, having stripped away that stuff, I still posted on the main board the main part of the message (misinformation coming from someone at the club, nothing close at the time, FPP still the most likely rather than just Fuhrman).
Not saying its true, it might have been at the time, things might have moved on, it might even (unlikely) have been wrong from the start. But posting a fairly bland summary of it won't see it traced back to anyone whilst still giving people a bit of info /gossip to take however they wish. I think that is sensible, and I think it happens a fair bit from people who hear a lot more than I do! So I don't think it's right that nothing will ever be shared on an open forum, it's just it'll be more general than you might get in a PM. Even PMs are fairly general mind, because as proved over the road you never know when someone will just cut and paste them. Hard to know who you can trust so it's not worth the risk unless you know the person in real life.
The issue for me, and where it gets annoying, is when people (like Bob) try to be so cryptic that not only does it disguise the source, it also makes it impossible to get even the general gist of the message! Mind, since Bob apparently knows the ultimate sources, I'm not sure why he needs to be cryptic, they know him so they know full well where the info has come from, so he should either post it or they should tell him to stop blabbing on the ****ing Internet!
You didn't name any signings that you had heard about, as far as I am aware?
You can say what you want with whoever on whatever side of the fence has told you about Marwood until he has been confirmed by the club you can't talk about it as if it's done. But blame my reading.
