Makes sense like !

Certainly does. If they can delay the Portsmouth one for a year I'm sure they can give ours a few months. Hell, make it like a lower league curtain raiser, charity shield style, and we could potentially get a capacity crowd (maybe need to be a bit later for that but would be class). As an aside I've forgiven tranmere for the fa cup thing, one of the few clubs I've improved my opinion of since we went down

Only issue for me is, what if we're in the play offs, they'd be taking place around then so could conflict. Appreciate it's only 2 games in the semi's then the final over a 3 week period but I personally wouldn't want another game thrown in amongst them, potentially injuring a key player or 2 along the way. At that stage, the play offs would be by far more important.

Edit, just checked League 2 and Tranmere are 6th so they could face same problem. Strange they wanna change.

KLD hasn't had his feet under the table 5 minutes and he is showing professionalism and how things should have been done! New state of the art pitch, hopefully sound system replaced with one the whole of sunderland can hear, stadium spruced up.. New positions created. Staff Brough back of furlough.. he should buy the old showroom and turn this into a state of the art fan zone too! Then when the windows opens, whole new team!
Woah there. Slowly slowly catchy monkey.
l think he will grow at a rate that gives stability and roots.
Infrastructure he can fast-track but building a ‘team’ - l think he will think organically.
Build, establish, then progress.
A 5,6 even 7 year plan before being deservedly accounted as a P L establishment club. <cheers>

There is still no guarantee of fans being allowed even if they delay it by a couple of months
