I'm all aboard. I really hope what I post now isn't seen as negative. But I'm glad Poyet has been given time. We need to back him, and he's going to want to change this club and the mindset of the players. He won't be able to make massive changes overnight, but this squad SHOULD be good enough for him to do what he needs to do with them. If not, unless the football is dreadful and no sign of improvement, I really hope he gets a crack at re-building the squad next summer. Be that in this division or hopefully the one above.
I was thinking that Smug, the tight time frame would suggest to me that whoever it is will be watching from the stands today, pity the EFL cameras point the wrong way
I don’t know mate everway the would of been sorted, gus is mates with sartori this has nothing to do with Rodwell Donald or any of them Rodwell wanted the cowleys that’s why the odds went up
Nobody from the club told us the takeover was done. However, Methven did tell some people that it was done and to get fans excited for a Monday announcement. Methven never really wanted much to do with us and it was Jan/Feb 2019 when we last interacted with him to organise an interview with Will Grigg. He never really liked us very much.
I haven’t been told this but you would hope later today tomorrow, but the might want to announce takeover first
Bang on mate. This needs to be a long term project. It’s never going to happen over night. But I can tell you one thing for sure, I’d more happily stick by a struggling Poyet team than a struggling Parkinson one. Allow him to implement his vision and back him. Good times will return.
The players need to know before the game to shake them up ... ... imagine how some would be gasping for breath if they tried for 90 minutes
I have no experience or insight into this but you'd have to imagine it's gone as far as him meeting the players today, it would likely be announced sooner than later to avoid leaks. Not that a leak would be the end of the world.
