Stendel plays lovely, fast moving l, high press football.

They were brilliant to watch at the SOL last season, how we won that game was hilarious. We were literally pissing ourselves after.

I’d back him all the way.

I'd love to see Big Sam come back, doubt it would happen but I'd be chuffed if it did.

Not last year and he needs to improve to do it this year although TBH I don't know anything about him, would rather have kept Ross, have no idea who I'd like and will get behind whoever it is(unless it's Pulis of course)

    Exactly.

Hopefully taking care the dirty laundry today will make the takeover announcement with new manager all the more positive.

At least that"s my view with a rose colored glasses on...

<laugh> Just trying to think outside the box. I don't want him either but I think there are worse choices.
Yeah, Klopp would be great!! I think Stendel has to be the top choice.

We really need a manager who can stay and build the club but i'm just not convinced we are patient enough ..

I think you're right. That's why Jack Ross has gone.

Specific set of circumstances that has the Fans so desperate to be promoted that any indication we're not romping it leads to mass unrest. Expectations are massive but had we sneaked promotion there'd have been some leeway and a lot less pressure which might have seen Ross given the time he needed

Yeah, agree with that pretty much word for word.

I've just checked and Anthony Hudson, who was linked around the time that Ross was appointed, is not currently in a job.

My biggest complaint is that both with this regime and many previous ones we haven't had a decent recruitment set up with a long term view of what type of player we need and when to turnover the playing staff ..its obvious we lack pace and strength but don't fix the problem ..we had no fullbacks for about 5 seasons and bought centre halves ..crazy simple errors.

I wonder if Fowler will be considered if he does well whilst in charge.
Good result tonight will do him no harm.

So pleased Ross has gone ...

... we've looked absolutely lifeless this season.

A hugely under-rated manager and an absolutely class act. I'm not convinced he'd go to League One but it's not out of the question and depends what else is around. I wouldn't say it was out of the question at all.

Christ, that nugget blamed VAR on the EU saying that he hoped Brexit happened because you can't have someone else telling us how to run our game.

I'm sure Ross will be a successful manager where he is given more time, patience and support.. In the meantime it is time to move on and hope that the next manager doesn't have the same as our last god knows how many managers..

I'm a big fan of Dutch football and I've watched the progression of it for the last few seasons. Foreign fairly unknown managers have come over to big lower league clubs and done particularly well giving time to stamp their style on the club and progress with it. I'd like to see us look at HENK FRASER. He's looking like he's a good impact manager. His last job was with my team over there, Vitesse Arnhem, and he won them their first ever trophy in his first season with them. He's now with Sparta Rotterdam and in his first season he had them promoted back to the Eredivise and has them currently about 6th place. His teams play a high pressing style looking to get possession high up the pitch and quickly break in numbers. He's used to working on loans and free transfers too.

no hard feelings towards Ross, i honestly hope his next job goes well for him, right now this club was 'too big' for him i think and that is not being big headed, just the expectations on any manager at SAFC now are massive.

would love to see hughton though, i laughed when the mags sacked him as i honestly thought he was the one to improve them in the premier and it kind of cemeted the idea that Ashley had all but given up with the club.

I’d agree with Stendel. He would play the type of football the fans are craving, knows the league very well and he has potential to grow with us. Hopefully he would be reasonable on the financial costs front too.

As he’s available, I would like a swift appointment. Needs to be able to bring in his back room staff and move on any of Ross’s team.
