What a ridiculous thing to say.

Rosenior has brought a good season on the whole in terms of excitement. That’s looking at the table. When you watch the football we play, it’s mind numbingly boring and that’s an opinion that many share. If you think it’s something deeper than that that’s on you.

Well done for calling that out. I’m sick of this modern way of thinking sometimes.

The problem is that this forum plus Fb and Twitter make up such a small part of our fan base, so the representation is hugely skewed.

100% Rosie in. Don’t see any benefit in changing, but same time I’m worried about next season based around the presumed squad turnover due to contracts and loanees

It's not ridiculous at all. Rosenior's style of play is undeniably better than a lot of the garbage football played by city over the last half century. Even just thinking about recent history, are you saying that if someone stuck by the team through the terrible Allam years, when it felt like their was no joy and hope, that the club might cease to exist, that we would never be free from that, that all that dedication and hard work of being a supporter could all be undone by some sideways passing? The way some posters on here seem to froth at the mouth when declaring this is all a step too far and they'll never attend again, it has to be something else.

I suffered the Dolan years when the football was dreadful week in week out but that's because we had a team of extremely average players & no one expected any better
The issue we have under Rosenior is a squad of talented players that are serving up boring football when they are capable of much better

The last decade we had one of the worst owners in England for ambition. Kept us stable yes but all managers prior to Rosenior were working with bottom 6 if not bottom 3 budgets. McCann imparticular massively overperforming his budget. Beating teams at the top of the league in the process too with a shoe string budget. Rosenior is the second coming of Christ to some after this season for doing the same.

Thats the beauty of discussion aint it
Wont all share the same opinions

I dont mind being wrong if rosie is a huge success here

But apparentlys its becasue he aint white

And after everything you've had to watch, that's enough to make you consider packing it in? Mental.
I’m sure original poster has said it plenty of times over the years. Is he still going? Yes.

Man City v Arsenal at the weekend was a saddening indictment of where modern football is heading as they’re what everyone is trying to replicate which turns every game into a boring chess match where teams are so desperate not to lose they play risk averse football that keeps supporters stuck to their chairs.

Which is exactly how we’ve played for most of the season. I’ve genuinely only been entertained by us a hand full of times this season, and that’s only when teams actually press us and don’t sit deep. If they do, my insomnia is cured.

What is this 'has to be something else' that some keep saying is the real issue?

This is 100% correct and it's not even just that the forum is skewed, it's just the ones that shout loudest and most regularly that make it seem so.

Rosie in.

It’s a shame you’d rather go down the route of accusing someone of disliking a manager because of non football reasons just because they disagree with you rather than acknowledge it. I suppose Rosenior’s gaslighting that this is the only way to play if you want to be successful has worked on you.

Exactly that: something else. Can't just be his style of play.
I loved Rosie as a pundit on championship goals, enjoyed him at the Man City game earlier this season too.

Do i enjoy how he makes us play? No.

The only thing I dislike about Rosie in fact is how he wants us to play football. I hope we see the improvement he’ll want over the summer window and we all look silly next season but i simply do not see it.

Why does it have to be something else? Why can't it simply be what posters are saying it is?
You and others must have 'something else' in mind to keep making the same accusation. So, what is the 'something else'? You are among the one's pushing that narrative, not the OPer's.

Accusing someone of abusive psychological manipulation because you don't like his style of play doesn't exactly correlate with the argument that there's really nothing else to it.

I like rosies style
I like seeing passes but i just have doubts about him being able to get us scoring goals and being flexible to make changes

Hes inexperienced and is constantly learning
