I think it’s a fairly equal spilt at the minute.

Most would be happy to see him stay on for summer. But I’d say majority find the style of play very boring.

It's nowhere near an equal split, the people wanting Rosie out are very much in the minority.

There's obviously a far bigger number that are unhappy with our home performances and that includes Rosie himself, they clearly need to improve.

I think you’re right on the first point yeah, should’ve worded it better that I think the debate comes more into style of play over anything.

Accusing someone of abusive psychological manipulation because you don't like his style of play doesn't exactly correlate with the argument that there's really nothing else to it.
He does gaslight fans he doesn’t mean to but he does.

Whenever he’s posed a question by RH from a fan, it’s always “what fans need to understand” as in you don’t know what you’re talking about so don’t ask questions like that.

This has followed simple questions such as why are we playing without a striker or why is a central midfielder at right back.

Why does it have to be something else? Why can't it simply be what posters are saying it is?
You and others must have 'something else' in mind to keep making the same accusation. So, what is the 'something else'? You are among the one's pushing that narrative, not the OPer's.

Because they're saying they might stop going after 50 years because it's boring. That seems like such a small reason compared to the decades of terrible ownership, awful football, and the tremendous amount of **** that has had to be eaten over the years as a city supporter. I just don't see how the style of play is enough on its own. There have been plenty of times over my years as a city supporter that I would have killed for us to just have decent owners and be nice and boring and not constantly awaiting the next heap of misery. It's an absolute pleasure and privilege to be able to just be frustrated that we aren't quick enough on the break etc. etc. These are good times, even if you are frustrated by the style of play.

The issue is no matter what players we sign they will end up playing Rosenior's style of football ie playing out from the back & inviting the press
Personally this style bores me to tears & it's not enjoyable to watch
I couldn't care less about City being in The Premier League. Some of the most memorable games I've been to were in Div 2 & Div1 under Peter Taylor when we played fast counter attacking football & put 3/4/5 goals past teams
Thats what fans want to see, we want to be entertained & be up off our seats as City bear down on goal
I've supported City for 50 years but if Rosenior insists on his team playing the current style of football then I won't be going to watch it as its boring & frustrating & I get no enjoyment from it
I'm in complete agreement with you, I've been coming since the 90's and I'm seriously considering not renewing my season pass for next year because of how boring our football is. I don't live in Hull and the whole day is about 8 hours all in round trip. That's a long day out to be bored senseless for 2 hours in the middle of it, this seasons home form has been absolutely ****e and could've nodded off in a couple of them if it wasn't for the cold weather keeping me up. I know a lot of the people round me feel the same. If he could actually get us doing some attacking then fair enough but when we're losing and the balls still being passed backwards and ends up with Allsopp from an attacking throw in... **** me its tedious.

... no, no, that's apparently not allowed. There HAS to be some other reason.

I never thought I’d see someone getting so worked up about another persons view of boring.

He's explaining his position. You find it condescending which is your prerogative.

Gaslighting is a form of psychological abuse.

Tone down the rhetoric eh? Makes you look unhinged.

You seemed to have overlooked the bit before it ...... I've been coming since the 90's and I'm seriously considering not renewing my season pass for next year because of how boring our football is. He's managed 8 hour round trips for 30 or so years (<applause>), but being bored to death is making him question. Why can't you and some others just accept that some of us have a different view about what is currently being served up?

I'm not overlooking that at all.

He explains his position by making the person asking the question feel stupid for asking it which comes from a place of arrogance. I don’t mind it at all if im honest when the results back it up. Pep is absolutely one of the worst for doing it when reporters ask him. But guess what no one bats an eyelid because ultimately the person asking the question always ends up looking stupid in the end.

That's exactly what he said last summer! In addition to robust players who can give us 40+ games a season (or some similar figure it was).
If he brings in experience (so long as his definition is not Sharp!) then it might, just might, be a hopeful sign that he's learning / prepared to change his thinking.

I think some people are seriously under-estimating the challenge that Burnley, Luton and Sheff U will pose next season. As far as I'm aware, they won't come down in a mess. They were far too strong for us last time and will likely be stronger next season. Convince me why they wouldn't be and why next season will "be more open than for some time"?
Luton won't come down in a mess. I think they saw this season as a free hit, invested frugally in expectation.

I had a car like that, once.
