Fair enough <ok>

My point is that we shouldn't be diving in and doing a West Brom, Poyet needs to be sure the signings 'fit' properly.

We couldn't start negotiations until the end of the season whereas the likes of Newcastle could offer PL football early on.

It was bound to be a slow start.

Aye! And it wasn't as though we could have dipped our toe in the water by asking any target 'If we stay up will you be interested in joining us?!' That very idea would have seemed ludicrous to them and they would have probably laughed in our face!!!
 
tbh we should all just wait till the end of the transfer window and see what happens, yes we all want up to date news reguarding our club but tbh we are not going to hear anything, the clubs being smart in not revealing any info so other clubs dont get interested, only the clubs were buiying off or the player is making noise not our club

Another thing to bear in mind is that we don't have to have every member of the eventual squad in Portugal.

If we start with Jones then Jenkinson turned up next month, to compete for a place, it's not exactly a crisis.

I'm quite sure we'll have been in touch with the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs, Man Utd.

They'll all be selling players but not until they've found replacements ..... just the way it is for clubs like Sunderland, we have to wait sometimes.

which tbh is what i think is happening with borini, and his agent is trying to drum up buisness in the process trying to increase his money
