Legend of a player. He remained with a sinking ship when we fell out of the football league. He could have left but stayed loyal and signed a new contract. That alone got him a ton of respect from the fans. He scores a fair few goals too for a full back. The 2 most important goals of his were at Wembley in the pen shoot out in the conference play off final and then 12 months later scoring in the 94th minute on the last game of the season which secured 3rd spot and an automatic promotion place to League 1. Without those 2 goals, we could be where Torquay is right now. His status with the fans as you can imagine grew a hell of a lot more for what he has done for us! He likes a long range shot and free kicks and pens too. Pace is not his best attribute but I feel is 1 of the best LB's in our league for everything else. Unfortunately, last season he seemed a bit of a different player. He wasnt at his best. But at the end of the season we found out he was leaving for family reasons as needed to be closer to London. May explain why his season was an off season for us. His head was elsewhere. On top of all his good points, he is a great guy off the pitch too. Really down to earth and a good character to have in the changing room. No doubt about it, you got a good player from us.
As for Bennett, we got a good player from you too. He did very well since his arrival. Im expecting good things from him next season
It will be good if you let us know how Browner gets on
