These are all his goals from his Queen of the South days. Looks useful. https://www.bing.com/videos/search?...2846783CF9CC67EFCF052846783CF9CC67E&FORM=VIRE
I see Alex Rodman has joined us. IMO this guy is a class act. I first saw him playing for Gateshead at the Mem and snippets on highlights since. He was standout on the day. At the end of that season we moved on to League two and Rodman moved on to NEWPORT??? I couldn't believe he didn't come to us. Strangely there were those on here who ridiculed my suggestion that we should have moved to sign him. Well I hope he proves my point even if it is years too late! Good Luck Alex
I see Rovers transfer target in the Jan window has signed for Mansfield obviously believing that the are a better bet for promotion than either Yeovil or Rovers
Did he say at the end a list of good stadiums where he has played like Celtic Park and Ibrox and is looking forward to play at stadiums in England like Stadium of light at Sunderland and then mention he has been shown around the Mem and thinks he is great???? Is he taking the piss???
He's a porridge gobbler, we have to give him some slack for that but I did think it a little odd too !
Having looked at picture of the arena stadium where St Mirren play I can only assume he is trying to get the fans on his side
They used to play at Love Street before moving to Greenhill Road, Love Street was a really nice footy ground up there but with the club falling on hard and desperate times they had to sell, initially it was thought to Wm. Morrisons but in the end everyone's fave supermarket chain Tesco purchased the site. St Mirren cleared their debts and built their current ground which I think looks a little featureless and with a capacity of only around 8500 it does seem to come up a little short of stature..........not too sure if Tesco have built on Love Street .....yet anyway.
Just looked on the Stoke City web sit and on Wiki for Dom Telford can't see that he has signed a new contract yet
According to an article on Bristol Rovers fc news Blackburn Rovers are interested in signing Ellis Harrison
Thats been known for a while. Apparently they had scouts watching him for quite a number of games in the last half of last season. Only 1 season left on his contract. I sense there will be a cheeky bid to try and get him on the cheap and if that dont work then they will come back in for him in Jan I reckon, providing he has been doing well throughout the first half of the season.
True but is he really worth that? If someone offered £1million now I would drive him myself up to Blackburn! But if you look at similar players at the same level go for stupid money then why not us!
I know Harrison is the MARMITE man but he does find the back of the net, I think Nichols is a good signing but at the present his goal tally leaves a bit to be desired and a few people round where I stand are not exactly going out of their way to get behind and support the player. Reilly knows where the net is but new players usually take time to settle in and if he doesn't get a few goals quickly then some people will get on his back, so if he does leave I hope that a new striker is on his way in through the door
DC said he wanted 2 strikers before Gaffney went. So 3 strikers are needed. We have Reilly. 2 more to go. 3 more if Ellis goes.
Ash harper and Cameron Allen have joined Bristol Rovers development squad from Bristol City on short term contracts which will give them the opportunity to earn longer contracts. Watched Cam Allen play as a trialist and he looked quite useful worked hard and tried to make things happen asked him his name which I probably shouldn't have done, hope they both do well
