Murray is superb, yeah he may not be comfortable in front of a camera, but he's the best player this island has produced in 75 years, hopefully his 4th grand slam final during one of the golden era's of the sport with 3 all time greats playing! He may not win sunday but he's worth a few quid at the US Open!

So he's okay to publicly have a pop at England in the media, and we should all still support him as one of our own? If he wants to be British rather than Scottish it has to be consistent, he can't just pick and choose when it suits him.
When the Scots get to vote on independence, we should also get a referendum in England as to whether we want the Union to continue. The Scots will probably get quite a surprise.
Unfortunately, I occasionally have to work in Glasgow. They hate anything to do with England and the English. The kids are brought up, or rather dragged, and brainwashed into hating us. So the miserable bastards grow up, hating us, and not knowing why. I think the Jocks have an inferiority complex, and quite rightly so! There are two blokes I hate in tennis, and Murray is both of them.
I lived in Scotland for 2 years and I'd support an Argentinian born Leeds supporter before I could bring myself to support anything Scottish. If we acted towards them like they act towards us there would be a racist outcry. For some reason they like to play the victim but we've been holding the ****ers up for centuries.
Give them independence. Remove all our troops from there. Let them use their own banks. Insist on only English born MPs for our parliament. Then laugh at how quickly they need our help.

Some people down here in the south express similar sentiments about (ALL) northeners.
A brief look at history will give every Scot plenty of reason to dislike the English,as we've rampaged throughout their country leaving trails of devastation everywhere you look. No wonder they don't like us.

TheCasual...sorry my friend but the interview you refer too never mentioned Scotland. Murray was being interviewed while training on the morning of the England v Portugal game. He was simply asked "who do you think will win the World Cup?" His answer "Anybody but the English"

I can't hate the Scots because Billy Connely is one of them and he's a god ! Also the Olympics are on and i support all the Brits in that.

I hope Murray wins, but I'd also give the Scots independence, remove the subsidies and then rebuild Hadrian's Wall as high as feckin possible and put in border controls. They can hate us for a reason then!
