The thing about Speakman is I get the impression he knows he's a bit marmite and almost takes pride in it rather than wanting to fix it. He's got his way of doing things and if others don't like it, they're wrong, not him.

I wish I had an ounce of the self-confidence he portrays
If he is like that, it's not self confidence, it's arrogance. And it's not something to aspire to.

Gab Sutton thinks Rosenior would be a great appointment for us.

@GabSutton
14s

I feel Liam Rosenior did an excellent job at Hull! Established a clear style, showing fantastic people skills. Always spoke so warmly of those he worked with, even when it now appears there may have been disagreements. Would be a great appointment. [HASHTAG]#SAFC[/HASHTAG]
We could do a whole lot worse, see Beale and the linked Robinson

I must say its all assumptions about Speakmans personality and traits, as all we see is snippets in the media, unless anyone has personally worked with its a bit unfair to say hes arrogant etc.

Im not Speakman on a burner account btw haha

True but have u ever seen him once acknowledge a mistake? Didn't even have the balls to give an end of season review this year

Speakman needs a 9 or a 10 out of 10 transfer window to save his job for me.

That dubious statement from that dubious journalist has no bearing on that for me.

Get a competent coach in to take us forward, improve the squad to a point where we can challenge for the play-offs and all is well.

Fail and it's time to move on.

Another linked but slightly off topic point. Chris Rigg is 17 next Tuesday and can sign a pro deal with anybody on that day.

We really do need the head coach in this week (I said that last week).
If Rigg is a casualty of the recruitment program so be it. It's 100 times more important we get the next manager right.

Have you seen any DoF or similar positions do it? Woodward etc

Why stick your head out of the trench if you've got nothing of value to say, would of just been saying it was disappointing etc.

Got very little right in the last 18 months so I'd assume he's on borrowed time unless he has a good summer
