Failure is harsh. There's an argument that he underachieved with the squad they had but he took them from 21st to 7th in a year and a half. Only finished 3 points outside the playoffs and got more points than we did under TM the previous year in a harder division

This is exactly my point the comments I'm seeing are outrageous

Another + for Rosenior is that Man City trusted him with Delap and Liverpool trusted him with Carvalho and Morton.

I know the owner had to fund the wages of those deals, but City and Liverpool don't loan their players out to clubs unless they trust that Head Coach and playing style.

Everything is based on assumptions rather than fact. The bile spouted towards Dodds is similar. People think he is being forced on candidates which is leading them to turn us down. There is no proof of this except quite wild speculation. With Dodds he was a player development coach and seemed to do a tremendous job with the likes of Clarke, Hume, Neil etc. He was then asked to step in twice in what were pretty much poison chalice. He did his best but was found wanting. Yet, he seems to come in for a great deal of hate. Generally, Speakman has done a decent job in turning the academy around, bringing in a talented, if unbalanced, group of players who are worth a lot of money. In the last 6 months he and KLD have lost their way quite badly but we aren't in an irretrievable situation. The reasons why we have got Still is that Lens is a more attractive proposition to us with them being in Europe etc. Yet, there is a massive desire to create some conspiracy as to why he isn't being appointed.

Yeah, I think even my patience with him will have run out if this window is a disappointment.

To caveat that, I am not demanding the mythical 'experienced' player, but I want to see some balance in the squad.

If we believe he can get us up it's peanuts tbh ...

... if we don't we shouldn't even consider him.

    On a different subject I think/hope/believe we'll soon have a boost on a totally different .

KLD has stuck to his word and tried to make the club sustainable. He hasn't ploughed his own money in but never said he would.

As I've said before the only alternative to 'sustainable' is unsustainable.

If KLD goes there are only two options. ...

... a new owner spending his own money or mortgaging the club, either means debt of one kind or another.

However, there's a question ... would you accept any owner providing they spent as you would wish?

Rosenior might help us secure Delap for next season. Two birds one stone!

Mowbray loaned Harvey Elliot and Morton from Liverpool, Harwood Bellis from City too and we didn’t loan a single player from them. Always thought it was a missed opportunity.

Is Delap any good? Seems as though he's had a few loans without scoring many goals.

Couldn't care less about experience, myself. Just want to see improvements. If that means experience... magic. If it doesn't... magic.

Michael is right in KS however, it's not just that. The bigger issue is the structure he has imposed and the insisting of some to remain in key positions. That's been the bigger issue.

That said, I don't think we will have to wait much longer.

Insisting Dodds stays in his current role by any chance? I don’t think speakman or Dodds will be here next year if so

hopefully find out in the next few days I guess.

If Rosenior brings in an assitant Im happy enough. Don't want to see Dodds confirmed as his assistant

Agreed... Can't be bothered with the club structure debate again... then you say but

We agree to disagree. KS released in August
