There's a lot of **** that the creators of Making a Murderer left out of the show which goes against Steven Avery, such as the fact that there was additional DNA evidence pointing towards him, Halbach's belongings were found at Avery's home, Avery and Halbach knew each other, several members of his family admitting Avery was an abusive man, among many other things.

As gripping as it can be, it's not a massively reliable programme. The Confession Tapes and The Keepers were better IMO.

All of those things are addressed in the second series, though as the whole primes is that he was framed, they're largely irrelevant.

Just watched The Ballad of Buster Scruggs...…………..a Coen Brothers movie consisting of a series of 6 shorts set in the Wild West. If you like the Coen Brothers movies, you will really like this. The first story is hilarious and involves the escapades of the eponymous Buster - but all of them are magnificent in their own way, dark or poignant or funny. Well worth a watch. And the cinematography is absolutely superb.

Start with Better Call Saul .
It's the lead up to Breaking Bad .
It's very good.
Starts off slow then really build s up in the 3rd and 4th series.

Escape at Dannemora (Showtime) is pretty good. It is a drama about a real-life prison escape. Two murderers are helped to escape by a female civilian employee who has a sexual relationship with both of them, though not at the same time.

Benicio Del Toro and Patricia Arquette are the main stars.

Nice one. Will add to the list

I have just got that series above, hope it is good. Going to start Berlin Station as well - on to its 3rd series, so must have something about it

Yes, the first two series of Berlin Station were very good. I haven't seen the first episode of the 3rd Series yet.

I'm on with Deutschland 86 now. I forgot it was being released in August. It is good, and different to Deutschland 83.

I'll look up Deutschland 86, liked the first series, are they doing anymore of Babylon Berlin?

you are not the only one. it takes me back to those heady days of 1979 when bras were rarely to be found on any of the young ladies that I knew at university.

My missus only started wearing a bra in the early 2000's.

....mind you she was only 13 then

I need a recommendation for summat with a likeable hero as the lead, a bit like Banshee or Vikings
Any suggestions?

Not seen Banshee but can certainly recommend Vikings - good story, good characters, gorgeous women + 'sex and violence' ....... what more do you need?

U need to see banshee. If the first episode doesn't do it for you then you will know straight away.
Ive watched all of Vikings, I liked it early on when Ragnar asked the priest to join him and lagertha….

I just want a recommendation of something similar.
