I've just finished watching all 4 series of Beaky Blinder, have to say it was a blinder of a watch. I see they have just started filming the 5th series which is due to be televised next summer.
I've now watched Viking & Peaky Blinders, which I really enjoyed both, any suggestions what I should watch next?
I generally try to watch 3 episodes before I sack off a series. There have been a few where the first episode is unwatchable as it is introducing characters and back stories.
I'll give it a couple more episodes then, I'm not a horror film enthusiast, so it might just not be my cup of tea.
I ended up watching the whole thing and it blew me away. It was so good. It felt like more than a paranormal horror movie. It managed to humanise it a little a times. Despite all the goings on with the ghosts and things, you also get the story of the family that has struggled with life ever since living in that house. Some fantastic plot twists too.
Stick with it, it's bloody great. Best thing Netflix has done since Stranger Things. Though I am a massive horror fan, so that might be giving off some bias.
I've just started it just finished episode 2. I really like it but I too am a massive horror film fan.
If you're ok with subtitles you should try Gomorrah; it's an Italian made series about a mafia family in Naples - it's brilliant.
If you haven't seen it already, or in my case even if you have, watch The Sopranos, it's the best series known to mankind - FACT.
Romanzo Criminale another Italian crime series based on a true story is better imho. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1242773/
I thought the first episode of The Little Drummer Girl was average tbh. Florence Pugh has something about her however.....so I will persist in the hope it improves.
Ended up watching the whole thing after my post. Really enjoyed it. Was hooked. Started ‘Making a Murderer’ now... I watch Riverdale too. It’s watchable but not “must-see”
