Aaron Connolly - contract ends this summer

Greg Docherty - option year ends this summer

Adama Traore - two-year deal ends this summer but the club has an option

Cyrus Christie - two-year deal ends this summer but the club has an option

Matty Jacob - one-and-a-half year deal ends this summer but the club has an option

Vaughn Covil - two-year deal ends this summer but the club has an option

Billy Sharp - six-month deal comes to an end in the summer

Loan players set to leave

Scott Twine - returning to Burnley

Ruben Vinagre - returning to Sporting Lisbon

Liam Delap - returning to Manchester City

Tyler Morton - returning to Liverpool

I think they've got Covil wrong. We already took his option to keep him here this year didn't we?

So he’s kept three clean sheets but conceded an average of two goals per game in the other ten that he’s played in. Hopefully he’s been playing behind the shocking defence. It’s a bit left field this one.

Forest were after him in the summer and West Ham, Bournemouth and Southampton were all been linked with signing him previously, so presumably he's half decent.

Clean sheets aren't always a keeper stat. That Johansson at Rotherham barely keeps any but he's highly regarded

Hasn't Connolly already been offered a new contract? Assume the club will trigger the extension on Jacob's and, possibly, Covil's contract. Means another busy window though.

Would love to see Delap and Morton back next year, but I don't see it, in any circumstance.
Jacob is a strange one really. He's 23 in June has only played once. We have Fleming under contract for another couple of years and Jake Leake who is only 20 and is injured on loan at Tranmere. If we are going to sign a first choice left back just not sure there will be room for Jacob.

Don’t play in Serie A and get capped for Poland if you’re not at least half decent.

Also reckon we could tempt Rotherham with 1.5m + Ingram for Johannsen

I keep seeing Johannsen mentioned, but at Rotherham he just hoofs it. Is there any evidence that he can play with his feet?

What else is he going to do when Eeeeaaaves is the target? <laugh>

Yeah absolutely, it's because that's Rotherham's game which is fair enough, but it just makes me wonder whether the reason he's still at Rotherham is that he can't do the things with the ball that top teams need their keepers to do. He may well have that skillset, I don't know, but I just think it's a question worth asking when considering him for City.

And Furlong.
So that's Fleming, Furlong, Jacob, and Leake.
Then Vinagre who's been inot ready, not fancied and injured at different times.
What a cluster ****. And some wonder why we question.

I think like McCan Rosie has his undroppable players. seek in and week out we see the same mistakes from the same players but next game they are still in the team. Rosie at least is starting to admit he made mistakes rather than blaming any one else. Acun has shown faith in him but to be frank I would far sooner we are not in the play offs as we have so many players who are not premiership quality if we fluke a place in that division. Get another window in the summer. Get rid of players who are not top 6 championship at the very least and build a squad

Never understand this way of thinking you take promotion whenever you can as it puts us in a far better position financially , we come down ? So what we would be in a far better position to go back up and stay there.

Fleming and Vinagre are finished with us, it's just a case of resolving their exits.

Leake's only 20 and getting his first taste of league football at Tranmere for the season.

Furlong's been deemed not ready and will almost certainly go out on loan this window (probably to Scotland).

Jacob will presumably start on Saturday and depending on how he gets on, is most likely to stay as No.2 to whoever we bring in in the next weeks or so.
