I'd say Sinik was the absolute worst of the bunch. Not based on ability or anything as I think he looks a good player, but a really bad situation for us being someone on supposedly big wages who's barely kicked a ball for us in nearly two seasons. I'd love to know exactly why he can't/won't get game time for us. Looked good in his cameo earlier this season. Is it struggling to adapt to England, desire, physicality, family? Heard all sorts.
Don’t think he’s ever been truly fit. Injured in his first pre season, then got fit started playing, didn’t do much, injured again. Then loaned out, where he played abit then got injured again. Injured all of this pre season, not fancied after he got fit again. Bit of a luxury player, who’s not actually that good
He's been injured again this season. He started a game on March 17th, came off at 70 minutes, then no involvement until he came on as a sub on 77 minutes on April 14th. He missed a couple of games in February with an injury as well.
I think it’s another James Scott situation where he’s been unlucky with injuries but also isn’t putting enough effort into his recovery to return to fitness and stay fit. I think he’s a victim of bad luck with injuries and low confidence. I think he’ll go back to Turkey permanently in the summer but for fraction of what we paid.
Hopefully majority of his fee was to be paid in appearance bonuses and goals. He won’t have racked up many appearance bonuses
Seen a few tweets mentioning this chap Ferdi Kadıoğlu Transfermarket has him valued at £20m so prob a non-starter
It all adds up though, seems Longman has had a decent year at the Den, so he'll come back into the mix too or could be sold. It's probably unlikely but Tanganga on a permanent would be a top replacement for Greaves. When he went to Augsburg they had an option of about £5m
