It's weird that there's so much talk around Twine being a hard worker first and foremost and debate around whether he's also a talented player. The guy has scored and assisted way too many goals in his young career to not be a quality player.

Mostly in League 1. Mallik Wilks got 19 goals and 8 assists in our promotion season as a winger which isn’t far off Twine’s 20 goals and 13 assist in his last season at MK Dons and I don’t think anyone seriously believes Wilks as being good enough for a top-half Championship team.

I don't think anyone has ever questioned his quality, it's all about at what level that quality is. He's obviously a quality L1 player for example as all you need to do is, as you say look at his stats. The big question is can he do it consistently at a top champ team pushing for promotion and unfortunately the jury is still out on that for now.

Based on his performances so far (as ATM that's all we can go on), would you be happy if we paid £4m for him?

He's definitely improved over the last few games and hopefully that continues for us and him.

Big difference between Twine and Wilks. One being is that Twine actually puts in more than 10% effort

Would anyone suggest Wilks lacks quality though? He's not a limited player is he, just too selfish and lacking a football brain. You don't bang all those goals in at any level if you're just a workhorse, as some people are making out Twine is. I think most general Championship or EFL fans would be baffled to hear that some of our fans think Twine is just about running.

We’ve got an outstanding goalie at every single level from 8-18
All will play for England one day guaranteed

I’ve said too much havent I
Pretend you’ve not read it
The vultures are circling already
This fella drooled over Greggs, so knows what he's talking about re goalies

I am not convinced his worth that much money, he has definitely improved over the last half a dozen matches but i think i would say half of that price and yes you have a deal....

Oh so you concede that Twine’s main attribute is his work-rate and not his technical ability? Great because that was my initial point.

I said "one" difference. Whilst I think Malik had technical ability I do still stand Twine has more. His finish saturday was a glimpse of his technical ability and I think he's been overly scapegoated because we hyped him up due to his set piece ability and it hasn't shown yet for whatever reason

Hope this helps

Might be splitting hairs but you didn't, you said 'big difference'.

Twine works hard and has ability. It's just not obvious that it is top-half Championship ability. Ability at League 1 level, yes. Remains to be seen whether he is good enough for a Championship team pushing promotion.

I meant to put differences. Typo on my part. Hence the following sentence saying one
