Both have strengths and weaknesses currently, but if they're adept at both playing out and a great shot stopper then they're probably in the premier league.
Yes when Acun took over the management team made a few mistakes with transfers-Sinik for one. But they got lucky with Twine, went to Burnely instead of us and it was Burnley that forked out the reputed 4 million. And of course we took him on loan which is acting as a trial period with us, but my guess is that Burnely will not want him back and if his performances dont improve further then we wont want him either. Contrast that with Delap and Morton, think it goes without saying that the management team and the rest of us would have them back in an instant and pay top dollar for that to happen.,
Even if Burnley did pay 4m (which is contested - stats sites show 2.9m euros) then he's 2 years into his deal there. I very much doubt we would be interested at 4m.
he is worth 4 million and if the club had a chance to sign him on a perm for that I have no doubt they would. He is underrated on here I think and is better than some think he is.
I'd say justified at 2.5. Needs to do more for 4m - but then the better he does here to justify 4m, the less likely Burnley will want to let him go if they themselves are in the champ next season. Lots of ifs, buts and maybes.
"We wouldn't even entertain an offer in January and I don't think Jaden would even entertain an offer in January because he wants to improve and he knows the best place is here for him," Rosenior told Hull Live. "No chance it's not happening. There's no way he's leaving. "I know that from Acun (Ilicali), I know that where we want to get to as a club, Jaden's a massive part of things here."
Daft quote to make really, because if 17/20m bid comes in then I'm not fully convinced we could turn it down
I’m hoping that the statement is the usual poor example of HDM reporting and they left out a comma, or full stop, between ‘chance’ and ‘it’s’ in the last sentence in the first paragraph. …otherwise he said he’s leaving.
Not sure if it’s just an oversight, but Stan’s deal doesn’t mention the usual one year option, but Rocco’s does.
he’s not allowed to play for anyone else this season anyway because he made an appearance for Villa before he left and fifa rules say you can only play for 2 teams a season
Personally I don't think he'll be going anywhere but, could he sign for another club and then not play again this season? Would someone, Chelsea say, buy him, triple his wages just to prevent anyone else getting him? Bit outlandish but stranger things have happened I'm sure.
