Good luck Matt. That answers who is playing next week. Will we be looking for 2 new keepers?

Luton have 2 keepers out with long term injuries, they only have 1 inexperienced young keeper. EFL has sanctioned the emergency loan, this is only on a 7 day contract basis. Luton play Fulham tomorrow tea time (live on Sky) and then play Reading at home on Saturday, Ingram will be in goal for both games. Luton need 2 more points to guarantee a play-off spot. If the Luton keepers have not recovered fitness (very unlikely as long-term injuries) then Luton can extend the loan for a further period to cover the play-off fixtures.

I don't think this will affect Ingram being offered a new deal here at City, Ingram is a good keeper, his GK stats for this year have been excellent and I feel a lot of City fans don't realise how good a keeper he is.

Does anyone know where we are at with contract renewals all gone abit quiet on that front? Honeyman new deal for me and Smallwood and Ingram options exercised.

Not going well for Ingram. Fulham 6 - 0 up with about 10 minutes to go. Can't be easy being drafted in at short notice against the leagues best team.

I hope it doesn't knock his confidence. He's definitely improved this season and it would be great if he could help Luton to promotion (they're my preferred top six candidate).
Yes, I agree. Luton lost 7-0 with Mitrovic scoring his 43rd goal of the season. Phenomenal, what we would do for a forward who got even half that number!

I'm really pleased for Will Keane winning promotion with Wigan and the golden boot also. He had a torrid time with injury with us, and really nice to see him get passed that time and show there was a striker in there.

It will be interesting to see how he fairs in the Championship?

He had one really good game for us I thought, away at Forest when he'd just come back from his long-term injury as I recall. Held it up really well all game and we won. But he never seemed to play very well again for us from what I remember.

I'm sure there are strikers who have been great for us and then done nothing elsewhere but all I can think of is those for whom the reverse has been true. Had goalscoring careers but did very little with us. I bring you - Steve Massey, Aaron Wilbraham, Danny Graham, Chris Martin. Marcus Forss doesn't look like he belongs on a football pitch but watch him score 20 for someone next season.
