there's almost no way we've got relegation clauses though right? I reckon we're going to have a fire sale if we go down as the wage bill will be astronomical otherwise
He has three goals and an assist in 13 games for Paderborn. I thought he was a decent player and no worse than our current midfield options. I suspect he left for non-football reasons because he was close to Walter.
I think we’ll try but will struggle as a lot of them won’t be wanted elsewhere. The higher earners are injured so we won’t be able to shirt them.
one goal from open play in our last 7 games. 630 minutes, six hundred and thirty minutes, of play. One goal from open play. edit, and that was a ****ing deflection too
'We just keep fighting' - reaction Hull City head coach Ruben Selles told BBC Radio Humberside: "The entire game changed when we conceded that goal and they managed the time at the end. "It was that final pass or the finishing action which we lacked. I don't think they were at any moment threatening us, we limited them to two shots and paid the price for not defending that set-piece well. "I don't think our final product was good enough but I think we invested enough to get something from the game today. "I think the players were as focused as they could be. The reality was the game was about one goal and in one action we lost it." Derby County head coach John Eustace told BBC Radio Derby: "I'm just very proud of the efforts, the boys were outstanding again today. It was a fantastic result. "Since I've been here this group of players has been written off time after time, but we just keep going and keep fighting. "The Championship is relentless, you can't get carried away with the highs and the lows. It's an emotional time for everyone and you just have to keep cool and I thought the way the lads performed today was excellent."
Yeah and Neill now has Miwwaww in 7th level on points with Coventry in 6th and one point behind Bristol City in 5th. Groan.
And since next week is Boro V Coventry, Millwall could sneak into 6th with a win - but we don't want tried and tested championship managers do we?
It really is a **** league. Reminder that Millwall wanted Ryan Longman in the summer. They thought that our dead weight could improve their squad, which must say something about the level of their squad. But they're where they are and we're on the verge of being relegated. There are loads of reasons, but to be where we are with the squad we have and the level of spending we've had, is absolutely horrendous.
we decide to give longman away and spend millions on joseph longman is far more proven in the championship for scrapping and running and grabbing a goal or two than our joseph FACT we'd be safe if he stayed and the money spent on joseph went to my back pocket(as it'd just as much use to the club in my account than buying him) sometimes you get what you deserve was there really no player in world football instead
The fact that Longman was considered a dead weight says it all, really. If we’d had Ryan Longman these past few games we might not be in the doo doo.
Longman does the same intense pressing Joseph does and is also a better player technically. Can’t believe we got fleeced £2.5 million for Joseph.
they even lost their main striker to wrexham too in jan but have taken the fight for playoffs till the last game
i said it in fury first half v preston but i think he might be the worst signing in the clubs history especially with the **** financial situation we will be in its an insane fee for a marathon runner
