Slater is at his best when he gets forward and carries the ball, seems to have been playing within himself recently which I think is tactical. I think a lot of the players are stifled by the need to be compact and leave no spaces which is understandable really.

Another coincidental irony rests in the hands of the teams around us at the end of one of our promotion seasons - 2007-2008 season. 1st WBA 2nd Stoke 3rd City 4th Bristol City All 4 of those teams can have a telling impact on our destiny this coming weekend, but this time at the other end of the table !!
