Even if something like that was true, creating a fuss about it before our last game and chance to survive is just self sabotaging really isn't it. Enjoy your night at treehouse boys, but win on Saturday please.
1 from open play in the last 7....Kamaras deflection Vs covWe’ve not scored in open play for 8 games.

It's still shockingly poor. And as poor as the players have been in attacking terms, I lay the blame at the feet of Selles for the way he's set us to play since the break and for his decision making.
Edit: twice, as Hughes was from a set piece (shock)
Is this true? We'll finish the season with 2 goals in the north stand net in 2025.
Sounds about right…sadly.Is this true?
Under Walter, but wouldn't score under Selles tacticsHe's played nearly 1000 mins for us and never looked like scoring, I honestly think i'd rather have Bedia up top, he may have been **** but at least he scored SOME goals
Personally, I didn't think we played that badly, there was only one team trying to win it, and that was us. However, the Achilles heel, as it has been all season, is the lack of quality in the final third.
We started well enough, but Slater's injury disrupted the flow of the game, and we lost Slater's driving forward. After that we saw a lot o the ball but did little with it, not for the lack of effort, just not enough quality on show.
As we feared it is down to the last game at Pompey, at least it is still in our hands, but we have to win. We do seem to play better away from home, so let's hope Pompey are on the beach, and we are up for the fight. Last chance saloon.

There's so much to say about that game but most of it has been said before. Just the same failures again and again and again and again at home. It's hard to believe.
The fact that we concede so few goals, yet so reliably concede from set pieces at a crucial moment whenever we play a poor side at home, is just so hard to understand and accept. It makes no sense but the pattern just keeps being reinforced. We almost never keep a clean sheet but also very rarely concede twice in a game. Always just enough to harm any chance of a result, and always a soft goal from a set piece. If we were leaking goals all over you'd say we just have a bad defence but we clearly don't. It's infuriating.
I think it's easy to say Selles was playing for a draw but I don't think it's true. I don't think that not making a sub equates to playing for a draw. I think it was pretty clear that Derby were actually the ones happy to hang on before they scored. They were starting to waste time and have a lot of players going down causing stoppages and stuff.
Our problem, as it has been all season but particularly over the last few weeks, is that we have no goal threat. Why it's been so much worse after the international break is the big question. It looks like it's going to relegate us just when Selles appeared to be on the verge of securing our safety. I believe he's a good manager and I don't believe at all in questioning his position but something has gone badly wrong in recent weeks and he has undone some of his prior good work. We were 10/1 to be relegated a few weeks ago and now we stare it in the face. There are a lot of reasons we are where we are but this recent total collapse in attacking play is one of them.
Gelhardt seemed to struggle to get into the game today and, as much as Joseph runs his arse off, he struggles to keep the ball or hold much up.
Feel like our fullbacks and wingers seem to have no idea what one another wants from the other. How many times do we go down one of the sides and get pushed towards the line and have to come back across the back four again? Fullback whacks it long and winger wanted it short; fullback gives it short and winger is off running long; or winger shouting for it and fullback leisurely running up to them to give them it bringing a player or two with them.
