The tubbylards are big underachievers in both the cup and the league.

So will i, as for no other reason it brings more sporting kudos to the city of Hull.

In saying that if it were being played anywhere else other than Wembley would anyone other than die hard egg chasers really care ?

It's not so it's a moot point; but they do get decent crowds at Cardiff and Manchester on occasion.

    The title says

Thousands of Hull FC fans queue for Challenge Cup final tickets

    Then in the article
By this morning, hundreds of fans were snaking around the stadium.

    Pathetic story

I went to the Hull FC v Leeds Rhinos Grand Final at Old Trafford a few years back when I lived in Manchester.

In those days you could take alcohol into the stands.

I believe Leeds won, but as I'd been on a Leo Sayer I can't really remember. All that I do remember is one of my mates coming back from the bar with 4 pints and dropped them as he got to his seat. Soaked the bloke and his son sat in front of us. The bloke stood up, and was about 6'4" and built like a brick khazi. His son then started crying.

We awaited the inevitable hiding we were about to get.

To our surprise he spent the rest of the match taking the piss out of his son for being a baby.

True story. Not entirely sure what the point of it was mind you.

Edit - just remembered - I think it was a big crowd for that match

What do you want them to write nothing? it's harmless stuff really, you really do need to get a grip. OK you don't like RL or Hull FC we get it!!! but thousands do, where is the problem?

It's nothing but a positive for the City of Hull.

There's plenty would disagree that the pro-rugby league spin from the HDM is an overall positive for the City.

But there are plenty that would agree.

How do you prove it one way or the other though?

How many people in the uk even know theres a challenge cup final next month? Not too many

How many people in the uk know hull city will be playing chelsea and norwich next month? A heck heck of a lot more and then bring the whole world

Hull city is doing 1000x more for our city than hull fc

Most watched league in the world worth billions with people in A saloon bar in kenya watching hull city to the hong kong lights

The hdm are so clear pro rugby league its embarrassing any other local rag in a small city would die for a locL premier league team
