Three things: 1. All of the great football bigots have totally overlooked the fact that 47yrs ago, yesterday, Wembley had it's finest moment. It was against the odds and we have as sure as hell done nowt since. 2. NFL is also played there; that must make you throw up! 3. Try Google, it saves you looking more than a bit naive.
The stadium cost £798m to build.I don't think a few football matches are going to pay the capital, debt and running costs unless tickets become extremely exorbitant.

Giddy up old fella cos the moon is yellow toniiiiiiii-iiiiiii-iiiiight, Giddy up old fella cos the moon is mellow & bright, There's a coyote crying at the moon above, Carry me back to the one I love, And you, ooooold faithful pal of mine.
As a teenager I went to see England play an International Hockey match there and in the 1950's my husband says his high school and others in Hull ran a day trip every year to the rugby league cup final followed by Ice hockey in the evening. He also went to a Gaelic Football match there when he worked in London in the 1960's as well as the first Henry Cooper v Cassius Clay(Ali) fight at Wembley.
Me ? For the years of abuse thrown at Hull City the club i love, and the recent venom hurled at the Heroic Allams from FC supporters I Really hope Wigan thrash FC by a record score. And then Rovers finish above them in the League.
Did you forget the last one: And then implode and disappear for ever. ?? Makes me sick tbh. You don't get any Hull City AFC fans supporting Wigan because they're more successful, then abusing the FC fans cos they're ****. I really don't see why I should be prepared to turn the other cheek, or be the better man and show them how to act. They won't change, so its a wasted effort. Just because 1 or 2 of them are not ******s and are able to objectively support both a local rugby and football team doesn't mean, or excuse the majority of them who make me sick.
I really couldn't care either way to be honest. It's good for Hull as a city, but as far as the sport goes, we might as well be at the Crown Green Bowls finals. If it's being held on the same day as the Norwich game, it means I won't even have to think about it. Hull FC fans aren't the only ones who have given us **** over the years, I don't see the point in putting them on a pedestal.
I've had guff from both of them. But then I've also had it from Hull Stingrays fans and even Hull Ionians (who, to be fair, play in Elloughton). Like I said, I couldn't give less than an iota of a **** about them, we're going to get slated by a lot of people this season as we're probably going to get a few batterings, so pundits, big 4 fans, the rest of the footballing world and indeed the sporting world will be pointing out our flaws. By singling out Hull FC, it's essentially rising to their baiting. And I for one, am not going to bother.
Well I want that bird from Countdown smothered in honey and waiting for me with a big 'Who want's a blowjob' look on her face, but it isn't going to happen
I'm looking forward to that week, Sunday watching City beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge and the following Saturday at Wembley to see Hull win the cup - perfect.
