Sounds like bull said by the club to make it sound like we tried and then the fans will hopefully (in the club’s eyes) blame the player rather than them when he leaves.
if he signs they'd just sell him anyway and try and get some of the £10 million back - there' no way they'e going to pay him big money and keep him - why would they make so much effort to get all the other big wage earners out of the door
The net cash flow is only going one way for the next 12 months, out the door and up the road to Kirkella and Swanland.
Whose that, him and Ehab? Adkins is such a yesman he makes me cringe, am disappointed that the fans didn't get to see Abel again the last few matches before he clears off for good
You don't do a crocheted toilet seat cover by any chance Ernie? I could look at it every time I use the bog and reflect on my club as it goes down the pan.
Just saw a photo of him grinning from ear to ear with Mcgregor on Twitter, the same Mcgregor that was in Hull having beers during the last match instead of being where he should have been, on the pitch. I still honestly don't know where Abel was the last few games, no goodbye for him either. Adkins is a fraud but just like there were apologists for the Allams at the start there are apologists for him. Lets see how he gets on next season with no players and no miracle loan signings like Wilson
What a sack of ****e. Adkins is a football manager and a decent bloke. How do you know Hernandez hasn't downed tools to protect his World Cup place? It wouldn't be a surprise. So we're going to have no players? Really? We are what we are now. A club on a downward spiral. But We still have players we've paid good money for. Far more than millwall, preston etc have paid. Let's see how Adkins wheels and deals. Look at how he pulled Wilson out of a hat. We will have to hope for a few more loans and a few raw div 1 or 2 players. So be it.
You say about Hernandez downing tools but ironically it was him coming back coupled with Wilsons sensational form that kept us up. Sack of ****e or maybe just the right and correct opinion.
Useless git, you could have posted it on here, I'm in need of a new dartboard! The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
They both have a 'stick' in common. One is a gob on a stick, the other should have his head on a stick. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
You been a bit dense. It was job done for Abel. Proved his fitness, scored goals and saved the club. Who signed harry Wilson on loan. Go on tell me.
I might be dense but please tell me why you think Adkins is a decent manager and not somebody that we are unfortunately lumbered with like we are with the owners. The flukey Wilson loan signing doesn't count. I think he signed that lad from Barnsley too and he hasn't really set the world on fire. Not only did he sign him but he threw him under the bus too I seem to remember, after playing him when he knew he was ill. Not really top level manager stuff that.
Anybody but Adkins. I'm just quoting Lambretta above you there 'a last minute addition' Wilson. We got him almost accidently, you can call it a fluke. Without the fluke and Abels return we would have gone down. We stayed up despite Adkins not because of him. It's just my opinion I'm not going to knock what you are saying. I hate the over top positivity, the bollocks speak , the Yes Man tendencies and everything else to do with Adkins. Just my opinion, thats all
We took Harry at 22.45 on the final day, due to Rolando Aarons blowing us out at the last minute. Rather fortuitously as it turned out.
