Have we heard anything about Abel's future since the end of the season, whether from himself, the club or his agent?

I know there have been unsubstantiated rumours regarding him being off to Celtic, Palermo et al but it just seems a bit weird that we've not heard anything like he's definitely off to Derby for a new set of crayons. The only thing that I can think is that he and his agent are possibly waiting to see which division Villa will be playing in next season.

Wolves are after him, would be a far better option than Villa regardless of what division they are in.

He's not Eham

I just saw a tweet from Lambrettaman saying Ehab would not let him be picked in the last few matches unless he agreed to a new contract. Absolutely shameful if true

That's just based the info posted earlier on this thread.
If true it wouldn't just have impacted on us, who is to say if he played v Cardiff for example it could have had an impact on teams being promoted. We had a few chances early doors that match that a proper striker might have made the most of.

I'm afraid not, up until last minute he was not supposed to travel to Bristol after the instruction from Ehab, Adkins thought he could meet half way and have him on the bench, it didn't go down well hence never even made the bench for the remaining two fixtures.
Sounds believable but until I hear it from an official source I won't believe that he's willing to make a sideways move to Leeds.

According to the Eggs and Toast (Yorkshire Post) he's attracting the attention of the 'Dark Side'. Whoever, he goes to, they're bound to have far more ambition than us...Its a £ucking shame...

I know he was injured and all that, but I bet in the back of his mind the fact that he didn't play in the last few games (for whatever reason) he will equate to jeopardising his World Cup place, and he will blame Hull City (Ehab) for that.

Any vague sense of loyalty he might have had (remember we've 'offered him one hell of a contract') to stay will be well and truly out of the window.

Record signing to freebie would only happen at the ALLAMS OUT !!! Supermarket

But L**ds FFS.
