But then it won’t count lol as we will always say it was the points deduction. Can we get a points deduction for not putting out a competitive side for the last 35 games?
Let’s just lose the next 3 games with -13 GD and do it properly.

Let’s be honest, we deserve the record as we really are crap.
I’m not worried about it as I honestly don’t think we’ll hold the record for that long.
I think that next year either Burnley, Leeds or whoever comes up will give us a run for our money. You think we’ll be promoted next season then?
No chance. They haven’t got a totally useless team, totally useless recruitment system, totally useless management system or totally useless owners. Any way we will be trying not to be the worst Championship team EVER!I think that next year either Burnley, Leeds or whoever comes up will give us a run for our money.
The trouble is that if the three promoted teams are as bad as the 3 that were promoted last season the Premier League might start making a very strong case for maybe reducing the league to just 18 teams (which will suit the big teams in European competitions) and just have one team relegated.I think that next year either Burnley, Leeds or whoever comes up will give us a run for our money.

Or just get rid of relegation entirely, though the top teams would be very against that
I'm assuming that's a tongue in cheeks remark. Big NO from me to anything that can be likened to creeping Americanisation.Or just get rid of relegation entirely, though the top teams would be very against that
I don’t know. I could happily ignore the PL, winning the championship would be the equivalent of winning the PL. I pay no attention to the CL because saints will never be in it, doesn’t bother me either. As would every fan in the country.

I know there is a lot of doom and gloom in these threads but starting to want relegation scrapped is truly up there. Would be an instant turn off for the whole sport for me if that got scrapped. What’s the point of any of it if you take that away? You’re just ****ty American FootballI don’t know. Because we were in the FA cup. If the big 6 had broken off and had their super league the PL would mean just as much for me. If it’s a closed shop which we will never be in then the competition we can play in becomes the only thing that’s important. For me the CL is irrelevant, may not exist. It wouldn't though. Just like winning the Johnstone's Paint wasn't the equivalent of winning the FA Cup.
Only for the PL. the FL will operate as it always has.I know there is a lot of doom and gloom in these threads but starting to want relegation scrapped is truly up there. )have wanted it for years as it’s the only way they have a chance of being competitive in the PLI'm assuming that's a tongue in cheeks remark. Big NO from me to anything that can be likened to creeping Americanisation.
I'm not saying it hasn't been discussed behind closed doors or out in the open for that matter. Nothing in my post you replied to intimated so.Im not saying I want it to happen but I think your being a bit naieve if you don’t think it hasnt been talked about behind closed doors. Not going to happen any time soon but if the trend of the 3 promoted sides go down convincingly continues then the argument for it becomes stronger
