Wolves, Palace and Fulham are at best shots at a win at home. West Ham and Leicester are out best shots for a win away. Win any of those or draw three and we don't get a record that we don't need. We already got the nine-nil - that's enough humiliation for fate to deign any team with. Oh, and a few ref decisions going our way would make a nice change!
Just had a good idea, it's simple really.....just beat one of those teams 10-0 and hey presto! We've expunged two undesirable records in one single blow!

Palace are bang in form, and have been excellent away this season. I think only Liverpool have more points in 2025.

I'd therefore swap Palace with Villa in your list. Assuming they progress against Brugge this week, our home match vs Villa will be the weekend in between their two midweek QF matches.

It's 100% happening. Starting to feel like we won't get another point all season.

10 would be a victory of sorts tbh.
I’m actually resigned to being labelled as the worst ever side in history, because we have earned that accolade with the utter **** we have served up this season.

Even if we manage to beat 11 points, it’s by far the worst Southampton team in history, and nothing else really matters.

It's all down to our trip to the King Power. As I said a couple of pages back, Leicester's relegation could be confirmed the week before we play them. And nothing which has happened since then has changed that.

If we don't win that, I don't see us getting to 12.

Worse than the points record I think is that we're going to end up with 14 straight home defeats.

I’m resigned to it. We deserve it and every player, coaching staff and board member deserve to be tarnished with the legacy it brings. Unfortunately as the years go by they’ll all wash their hands of it and we will be the ones who remember it.

Derby were just ****. Our club actively threw in the towel before Christmas and continued to charge full price every week when they basically admitted they were a Championship team. I’ve never been so conflicted about my own club in my lifetime. It’s a ****ing soulless husk of a football club.

The Wolves game has killed off a lot of remaining hope for people that we can reach the dizzy heights of 12 points. I still have a smidge of hope based purely on our other 2 wins. We didn't play well in either and arguably didn't deserve to win either. We just need that to happen one more time.

Record home defeats in a row is 11 which I think we'll beat.

Can't see us getting anything from Palace, Villa and West Ham.

Posted on Wolves thread but should be here …

So sad that I, along with more & more I assume, are now even resigned to the impending obvious, we’re going to take Derby’s record. This season has continued to pull every ****ing rug out. Just when we didn’t think it could get any worse, whoosh & there it goes again. Atrocious at every level, facet.

Palace have been in good form recently, but they do have off days. Villa are away to PSG on the Wednesday before playing us on the Saturday and then home to PSG on the Tuesday afterwards, so that gives us as good a chance as we are going to get there. And West Ham might be on the beach by then with relegation wrapped up and nothing to play for. Though it's about time JWP scored a freekick...

Clutching at straws a bit, and yeah we are more likely to lose all 3, but there a slim chance we could win one of them.

Bit early for drinking mate

Admire your optimism but I can't see a single point out of those 3 home games.

Leicester our best chance of a win now, probably followed by West Ham.

Another point on Wednesday night. Only two more to go. I'm amazed that this is all we can get excited about! Still Tottenham next and they've had a shocker of a season.

So with relegation confirmed who thinks we'll manage another 2 points?

Surely Leicester is the best chance of a win? Still some tickets available for that btw...
