I know you're new to this City lark but ffs.

The point is this.
There were hundreds of spontaneous boos. HDM's Buckingham dared to suggest it was over a thousand.
Certainly it was loud enough to be heard by the North Stand choir, who responded with the "where were you when we were s**t".
Now whether some of the booers are there to capture the Stevie Gs on their iphone, or whether they are the flask brigade who in their opinion never dreamt their team would ever consist of 17 internationals, the point is that they do not have to prove their credentials as a fan to anyone else. They turn up, and pay their money like everyone else.
And as for this "new" rule that CTWD have invented that fans shouldn't boo other fans... absolute bollocks.
So called "fans" do far worse than "boo" their fellow fans on this forum including wishing they endure a slow and painful death.
If a section of our crowd was being racist, or homophobic, of course I would be in my rights to boo them. Why? Because I hold a different opinion to them.
The chant at 19:04 is specifically aimed at Allam. Therefore it is anti-Allam. That is why the booing will continue.
X made a pretty distasteful analogy which made reference to AA saving your kids from drowning them and then raping them.
Show that same person X's disgraceful post about children being raped and I dare say you'll get a wholly different response.
Whilst silly bastards like X are aligning themselves to CTWD and are posting such offensive drivel and it being deemed as acceptable, no one apart from me challenged it after all, then CTWD will lose support from rational, reasonable fans.
Before the name change application, fans sang City till I Die
During the name change application, fans sang City till I Die
After the name change application was rejected, fans sang City I Die
Only during the name change application would it be right to construe the singing of City till I Die as a form of protest, against the owner's intention to change the historic name of Hull City. Even then, it was at the same time a pretty civilised form of protest which also doubled as a song supporting the team. Certainly a long way from coffins, sit in protests and fish heads.
I am as frustrated as the booers the other night that this name change seemingly won't go away, despite the games governing body ruling against it. I would love to concentrate on supporting the team on the pitch and enjoying watch some of the best players ever to pull on a Hull City shirt.
The booers and anti-ctwd die lot, in my view, are focusing on the wrong target however. Assem Allam is the one who has resurrected the name change issue, not ctwd.
In my view, the booers are just picking on the easy target because, deep down, they are also afraid of the long term future of the club; not because many of them believe that Hull Tigers will actually transform our finances and allow us to set our sights on the top 5, but because they are afraid Allam will throw his dummy out over the issue and leave us with an uncertain future.
As to the chant: it is a chant ffs. It isn't 'offensive', it doesn't have any derogatory comments about the owners in it, contains no swear words, nothing. Even Ehab acknowledges this. The 'worst' you could say about it is that it marks and celebrates our history as Hull City, particularly being sung at a time that also marks the founding of the club. Given this, I am surprised that any true Hull City fan should get so wound up by it.
This thread is just going round in circles.
CTWD is not an anti-Allam organisation and no joke on a gift bought for a committee member is going to change that, though I realise that some on will persist in claiming it does. Unfortunately, for those people, if it wasn't this, it would be something else, some are hell bent on blaming CTWD for everything and it's just something we're going to have to live with.
The FA have rejected a name change and are not going to reverse it, CTWD had hoped(but not expected) that would be the end of it, but unfortunately it continues. The sooner the FA reiterates it's position and puts this completely to bed, the sooner we can go back to just talking about on-field matters and that day can't come soon enough for me.
Firstly, have you got any actual proof of that? Secondly, can you be sure it's the CTWD lobby repsonsible, or the ****e "fans" who boo 'em?Bit presumptuous?
I support CTWD 's actions re the name change but a reality check is needed IMO .
Some of the stuff being posted is turning people away . Shouting those people down and saying they are not 'proper' fans is wearing a bit thin.

Where have CTWD jumped unjustly on anything anyone has said? You can't really think Allam hasn't been given enough slack for his various outbursts?

Even if true how would it be a bad thing? Putting personal views to one side in order to maintain a respectful campaign. I'd say that's admirable.
You say that's admirable, others may well describe it as deceitful, disingenuous hypocrisy.
You really are missing the important point here, and obssessing towards CTWD. It suggests you're trying to deflect from the real matters at hand.
The issue is the name change, Allam's refusal to accept the ruling of the FA, and CTWD's response to it. The hip flask means **** all. He's the chairman of a football fans' group, not the ****ing Prime Minister.
I've decided that the name change should be tried ... not because I prefer "Hull Tigers", or just "Tigers" but because I want Hull "whatever" to cease being dependent on owners who invariably turn out to be shysters. I'd rather have a self-sufficient "Hull Tigers" getting closer to Man U's £315 million shirt sponsorship deal than be wondering if every new owner of "Hull City" is the next Bartlett, Hinchcliffe or Lloyd. So I am now pro-name change. Therefore, I am anti-CTWD and, if the results of the ballot are to be believed, I will not be alone, hence the boos.
