Back on topic after I had to trawl through several pages of ****e to make sure it wasn't mentioned already (sigh). In Bruce's after match interview yesterday, he said hopefully one or two would come in tomorrow (meaning Monday).

Yep. Akpom and Odubajo are in Hull for medicals. Was mentioned at some point.
 
Ok, well since he said we'll have two signings to announce tomorrow and we have two players in Hull for medicals, I thought it was a logical conclusion to make. I guess we'll see.
 
I wonder if we might have another keeper and striker in before next Saturday? I thought weeks ago Jakupović wanted out, Goalkeeper and Striker are by far our weakest positions now.

I don't think he's ever played as a striker for us, dunno where that idea's come from. I know Bruce loves playing a winger up front but still.

Who is CJH anyway? Have Calaum Jahraldo-Martin and Abel Hernandez been merged together to form a super-striker?

I know what the Brentford fans believe, I just think they were misinformed. McShane was signed afterwards for an undisclosed fee, that fee was rumoured to be £500k, by the end of that season we thought if there was any fee at all then we'd been robbed.

He went on to become a bit of a cult hero in a different position, but when he fist arrived he was dire and Sunderland had been desperate to get rid of him.

When he first arrived he was outstanding, making his debut in an away win vs The Jawdies if I remember correctly, and was a massive part of our great early season form.
