It's quite funny that you'll still hold a grudge despite the fact our owners have changed and we're now being run very differently.

I don't hold a grudge personally but many fans at the club do and Matthew Benham was just getting involved at that time.

I wonder if your owner would try to find a way of getting around the sell on clauses for Gray (Luton) and Odubajo (Orient) given half a chance? He sounds a decent fella though.

Maybe, maybe not. He is a dream come true as owners go though and football needs more of the likes of him (in terms of attitude rather than £££)

I know what the Brentford fans believe, I just think they were misinformed. McShane was signed afterwards for an undisclosed fee, that fee was rumoured to be £500k, by the end of that season we thought if there was any fee at all then we'd been robbed.

He went on to become a bit of a cult hero in a different position, but when he fist arrived he was dire and Sunderland had been desperate to get rid of him.

I think the "stitch up" claims come about because McShane was signed the day after Turner signed for you. Although nothing illegal was done and you have different owners now, the sentiment amongst many fans is that when it comes to transfer dealings with Hull City we should play hardball as "we owe you one". As Matthew Benham has been a fan since 1975 and now owner he might be in the play hardball camp. That's my point.

If so that's pettier than our owner, and that's saying something. I think he'll be much more pissed off because he's lost Odubajo well below market value

I think he'll be a little more professional.

Sounds like we've hit another Rhodes moment with Gray...will SB see this one through or leave it?! Seeing his goal on the weekend I'd hope we see it through

Anybody know how many goals odubajo created for brentford last season? Be nice to have another creative element in the team seem to only have elmo who creates anything

Also where will he play rw or rb?

Happy with the akpom signing arsenal fans all rate him highly and were hoping hed get gametime this season, my only question is will he apply himself? Seen wengers comments and seems hes one of those players who needs a rocket up there arse at times, just my perception could well be wrong

Do people think were actually looking for a goalkeeper? Bentley would be nice but not convinced were seriously in for him

Bentley may just want to keep him. If he's not desperate for the money why sell him unless its for silly money?

If we sign Odubajo today we may well have bought out the delay clause in the contract.

Believe it was Odubajo's decision when he said that he wanted to close his contract with them

At the end of the day if Odubajo wants to sign for us and signs on the dotted line, then we have him, no matter what the clause says. Because he's saying he doesn't want to play for anyone else, just us. Which is why the 21 days thing is bollocks in the first place. Once there's a release clause that gets triggered, that's it. It's between us and the player.
