Yea it tends to just be us, tigerscanada, Canadatiger and sidneytiger on this time of day. Sometimes Quill is up due to his apparant insomnia.

I'm in Northern California about half way from Sacramento to Lake Tahoe on a map. I'm not from here though, born in Casper Wyoming lived a bit in Europe but spent most of my life in Virginia near the VA and West Va border. So just don't call me a Californian I am a Virginian which means more to an American as far as mentality, speech patterns etc go, probably not so much to you all. If you ever go on a vacation to Tahoe let me know, we can always grab a beer.
Do you know the joke about when Mohammad Attar (the 9/11 leader) gets to the pearly Gates?

It's a huge deal here for sure and you can literally get into a fight over the discussion. In my opinion the best Barbecue is in Memphis Tennessee but your choice tends to say more about where you are from. Tennesee, Texas, Missouri and Kanssas are the big ones.

What do they do in Arkansas and Oklahoma?

So how come you support City? I'd always assumed you'd emigrated from Hull years ago.

Hey all

I am on vacation next week for 14 nights in a sunny climate so the updates may be a bit few and far between. I will endeavour to keep in contact with our kid and if there is anything urgent I will get some gratis wifi in a cafe and post it for you.

Adios for now and as they say in France - bon voyage

Big Vernon

Slow ****ing news day.

It is only this time next week after all where we have to kick off our 15/16 campaign.

Just saying Mr Bruce. Pull your ****ing finger out your arse.

Interesting reading through these pages how some moan when we aren't signing players and moan when we do sign them!

This is typical though Ed. Happens just about every year. Our problem has been that we have failed (so far) to off-load those 'high-earners' in order to bring in the players we need. Again, and this seems to apply to Hull City with sickening regularity, we are getting the "Hull City"? "Thanks but No Thanks"! replies from players we are approaching or the proverbial "You'll have to up your offer" from their agents and/or Club.
With kick-off a mere week away there are a number of scenario's that could happen. We could be left with N'Doye and Jelly in which case I would expect a better than average return in goals from these two at this level. We could off-load them this week leaving us with untried players in our team and this could take some weeks before they bonded with the rest of the team. Should Jelly and N'Doye stay and start cracking some goals in then they would (imo) attract substantial offers in the January window which may be too good to refuse and this again would leave us in the s hit up front.
