Well, if we score as many goals as you change your Avatar, Quilly, we will be home and dried - so keep going.
Sadly, with a mere 3 weeks to go and no sign of a striker (by that I mean a football player who can put the ball in the back of the net on a regular basis - 2 goals in 5 would be wonderful) I cannot see us doing much good.
Time is running out.
 
I'd rather see Robertson play at left back. He's a left back. He looks like a left back and plays like a left back.

Why don't we start playing Elmo as a lone striker?

Phone signals ****e so the link won't open (who's linked to him?) but let's not kid ourselves here, Michael Dawson is an excellent premier league quality defender and one of a select few who performed to acceptable levels consistently for us last season.

Does anyone really expect him to still be here on September 1st?

I'd be really surprised if a Prem club doesn't come in for Dawson, he'd be a quality signing and wouldn't cost much. If that does happen I'd expect him to leave us.

It seems he wants to stay and get us promoted.
 
If Bruce actually travelled to watch him that's a great sign of actual intent to sign him. Any reason he'd pick Bruce out of that lot though?
