I’ve noticed it tends to be ham fisted gammons that have a strange problem with her.

Having caps for women’s internationals and a degree in journalism does not make you an authority on men’s football or a good presenter. Did Wolstenholme, Barry Davis, John Motson etc have England caps and a degree in journalism?
Having England caps in men’s football does not mean that person is a good presenter , pundit or commentator either as we find out every weekend.

I've noticed it's overly emotional woke snowflakes that tend to make silly, nonsensical comments to big up their ego depletion.

Can anyone point to any particular incidents or things she’s said that they don’t agree with that make her a **** pundit?

One telling thing from all of this is that there doesn't seem to be a local replacement lined up for a 64 year old jock who is liable to retire at some point in the next few years anyway.

Dislike her estuary English voice. Not just her either whose voice grates, male and female. There was a time commentators could enunciate. Some people don’t mind the sound of Danny Dyer FFS.

Wonder if Fatty Fieldhouse and James Shield had degrees in journalism? They made Gollum look professional.
I remember a few years ago a Blades fan in pub was reading a Sheffield paper. In it there was an article where Blades fans had voted Shields the worst reporter they had ever had.

It wasn't an argument that it's value for money, it was just a demonstration of how its a public service which exists to do good and not just an entertainment provider for profit like Netflix is.

Whether its value for money or not is a matter of opinion and probably a complex one, but I think that should be considered alongside other taxes which pay for services that we may or may not personally use, rather than compared to the value of paying for Netflix or Disney, which are very different propositions.

Then it should come out of National Insurance contributions and/or income tax and not be a ‘voluntary’ license which isn’t really voluntary even if you never watch BBC channels.

It's always found it strange how wound up people get by by football pundits. Can't you just disagree with them and move on?

    Not a bad shout.
Tbf, in past times, I never minded paying for my TV licence. I always thought it was great value (TV and radio). But times have changed so much. In some ways I still don't mind paying it (although I agree it's really now an outdated model) were it not for the scandalous salaries of some, with 'up himself' Lineker being top of the list. Scandalous is absolutely the right word for it. Shows like MoTD should NEVER be about the presenters, it should be about the football. Somewhere along the line the balance tipped way too far the wrong way.
I wonder if the scandalous salaries would be addressed if the funding came from NI or Income Tax?

Some countries charge nothing, some charge less, some charge a hell of a lot more. Some you need to pay even if you don’t have a TV.<laugh> None of their state TV stations is as good as the BBC. If you want to see a servile broadcaster kowtowing to whoever is in power look no further than France.
As for value for money, how long would it take to read the paper edition of the HDM? Buy that every day and it would cost you £9 a week compared to the BBC’s £3 a week. Like it or not it is cheap compared to Netflix, SKY and others.

Steady on with accusations of sexism, buddy. I wrote she was a looker, so worth her salary and you ought to turn down the sound if you don't like her opinions or voice. I'd write the same about a man or a transexual if I felt that way.

Not sure why anyone needs to be talked through a game they're watching, but that's my opinion as I don't analyse the game really having never played it at any level beyond childhood or think about it that much after, just enjoy it in the moment. Appreciate crowd noise improves a game.

People get wound up by other presenters, Piers Morgan, Jeremy Vine etc. Can’t they just move on?
