Sounds like you do begrudge us? Our Owners are here for the long term Pearsons words not mine. They have tried to help you? Sold you Fryatt and Hobbs and loaned you Waghorn and Pearson so do not be bitter.

Dont begrudge you in the slightest dear boy. Good luck in Jan with whatever over inflated fees you end up paying. NP did a great job @ Hull binning the deadwood and bringing in better and far more talented players. But he has not the skill or nouse to improve them WHERE AS NICK BARMBY HAS, so i am glad NP left. Everyones a winner. Please dont get neck strain as you keep looking up at us eh ? :emoticon-0116-evilg See you in March. <party>

Fryatt has many problems to address before he becomes a good striker at this level.

1- he's easily caught offside- quite infuriating at times.
2- he takes far too many touches when taking a shot early would suffice (even if it goes wide or doesn't go in it's an effort, if you don't buy a ticket youwon't win the lottery).
3- there's question marks about his confidence.

But he's still better than Adebola and Mclean. Can't say NP bought very well in the striking department when compared with other areas.

Whilst I don't agree with the almost derogotary way in which you've mentioned McLean, I certainly agree with that last part. NP found us some great defenders and midfielders, but none of his striking buys have been quite right.

To get good players at this level these days you have to pay money for them! 1.85 million for sharp would be an absolute bargain in todays market place. He is a proven goalscorer at this level and thats with a very poor team! I honestly cant understand why people think he isnt worth it. We dont need to strengthen the team in many areas so why not blow most of our budget on one player for a position we desperately need filling!

Its a similar thing with the possible michael turner deal that has been rumoured. People are arguing that we shouldnt go for him because we already have hobbs and chester and wouldnt want to upset the partnership that we have now. But lets face it, turner is a better defender than both hobbs and chester. There is no point in signing someone as cover, if you are going to sign someone you need to make sure they are going to improve the team, which turner definitely would do! Now, i dont think the turner deal will happen but i still cant believe people are saying we they would be unhappy with his signing!

I agree with the first bit of this, but I think the arguments against signing Turner are pretty valid. He wouldn't be prepared to sit on the bench, and Chester and Hobbs don't want dropping now. I'm also not sure I agree that Turner is better than those two, having been injured for so long while Hobbs and Chester have been playing every week forming a great partnership. we'd probably be better off sticking with those two even if we did sign him.

Yes see you in March. Then hopefully in the play off Final.

I always said Hobbs and Fryatt would be very good signings for you

We have done better then Matty with Nugent but at the time we sent you Hobbs he was still good enough to be first choice for us with Sol Bamba. Even now i would have Jack Hobbs as 3rd choice behind Mills and Bamba but Jack is better then Sean St. Ledger. Fryatt was too much of a confidence player for Sven's liking and he was moved on. Im not envious of you squad, the only thing you have which we dont is a decent winger

Our defence is rock solid as long as Mills dont get himself sent off, Kasper Schmeichel is the best keeper in the league, our midfield is a complete mess and up front our strikers will score if given decent service and Beckford can be arsed

You'll win the league then mate!

:emoticon-0111-blushjust wondering if any of those
sneaky lestas have told young billy that ull isnt in
yorkshire and is in umberside ? which no doubt would
horrify young billy.
oo it horrify's me too!!!

MUPPET Hull has always been in Yorkshire. It was other MUPPETS that decided to create the piece of **** known as Humberside

Any truth at all in the story about Sharp having a release fee of £1.85 million (that becomes active soon)?

If it is true, it sort of scotches all the cr*p from CI about a 'done deal' between us and Donny for £3M imo.

And surely most other stories about pending £3M bids and upwards from other clubs .......?
