If I were organising Saturday'sgame and publicity around Franny, I'd have a small container under the seat at the end of every row of seats in the ground. Just before kick off, I'd announce that the container was there and ask it to be passed along the row and filled. That way, rather than buckets that could be ignored, it'd be passing under the nose of everyone at the ground in front of their seating neighbours. If everyone just popped a quid in, it'd nearly double Franny's take. The guy's doing something I simply can't believe is possible and I'd really like to see the club do more than just talk about it. Hi, one of my rare posts. I remember Dennis Rofe commentating on Solent a few years ago. "Franny Benali - Heart as big as a dustbin'! Well we cannot disagree and I think it's a great pity that someone from the PFA cannot persuade one or two of their members to donate a small percentage. Also, and I risk offending a few here I guess, how come Greater Manchester 'community' has raised more than £800,000 overnight for a burned down stray dogs home yet Franny's exceptional effort has around 10% for human beings ?
Great article and video from Premier League News with some interviews: http://www.premierleague.com/en-gb/...eting-1000-mile-run-for-cancer-research.html?
Franny just gone through my home town. I hope he gets a fantastic reception through the streets today when he reaches Southampton.
Also nice to see that Dean Hammonds wife is urging people to donate to Frannys run on twitter. Good to see.

I withdrew £20 from my post office savings account yesterday and it is in my pocket ready to go in the bucket today. There just has to be a bucket collection.
