Saints fans have been chanting Franny's name inside St. Mary's between the 44th and 47th minute.
Well done Franny. Nice to see you welcomed home to the heart of the Southampton family, where you belong. Legend. Thought Ron could have brought him on for 10 minutes at the end.
It's these feel good moments and pride in the Saints family that were sadly lacking during Nicola's reign, that make me so proud to be a Saints fan.

I had a tear in my eye from the 44th minute. The noise for Franny was fabulous.

I don't know about you, but I feel a bit guilty about Franny. I don't know the rights and wrongs of his argument with Nicola, but I'm so glad he is back in the fold.

He's back where he belongs. That's all that matters. He is such a nice fella. I heard some stories today of the things he is doing for people. Top, top man.
When my mate put him on the phone to me this week, he sounded so genuine and had time for me rather than glibly humouring me. Really decent man.
Mods - any chance we could sticky this thread for a couple of weeks please? Just as he's finished it may slip off page one and another week or two may get some to put another pound or two donation in.
