Aren't you even slightly ashamed of discussing the easiest route by public transport on a thread about Benali running 1000 miles
http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/saints/news/11462708._Jog_dog__boost_for_Benali/?ref=mac Latest from Franny's run...even got his dog joining in now. Perhaps he can ride him home.
http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/sa..._Benali_for_final_leg_of_charity_run/?ref=mac Kreuger joining Franny for last leg of run. Have to admit when I first read that I thought it was Katharina...now we'd all pay to see that
I really hope it's about 2:45 so the ground will be full. Any other time would be bad management after all this time.
I'm sure he will hang around running on the spot until being presented at a suitable time...not during the half-time drinks rush
**** this, I've decided, I'm getting this around social media more, also gonna contact talksport/bbc/sky, more needs to be done to give this more publicity, 35 marathons in 21 days?? Go on Franny, everyone is behind you! As for Ralph doing some with him, I couldn't see our last chairman doing that could you...
Running a 1000 miles is one thing, but scoring another goal might just be beyond him. They've just released some details of Saturday's route. It looks like he'll be passing close to where I live so I might be able to cheer him on before I leave for the match. http://www.jellyfishlivewire.co.uk/...omecoming-leg-of-benali-s-big-run-is-released
Still amazed at this achievement. Franny is a god. His daughter is stunning too. (shouldn't have said that last bit out loud)
This is beyond amazing. It's crazy! I can't imagine anyone who knows anything about running to even consider it. That he's pulled it off is without doubt one of the greatest athletic achievements by anyone, ever. Its a shame it hasn't had nationwide publicity.
Don't know whether you looked at the Saints v WBA Uncovered video, but she did a bit of presentation before and during the match. Appeared to do very well too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mc6RHqbggZI
Well my phone has just rung and it's my mate. He said, "Hang on, someone wants to talk to you." OMG!!!!!!!!!!!! IT was Franny! He's knackered, but doing well and on the home run. My mate was helping with the crew this week and I told him that if Franny gives me a mention I'd make a sizeable (well for me anyway) donation. Well bugger me, he got him to call me so I had better cough up. He will be on the pitch at half-time, so give your half time beer a miss and make sure you give him a massive round of applause and drop as many pennies as you can spare into his bucket!! made my night.
