Absolutely no problem, FLT. Good idea. I don't think I'll need to confer with the lads. I'll just have to get it in the neck if they disagree.
I've also merged DTLW's Franny St Mary's Video thread here as it will also stay on the front page that way. Just go back a page or two from my post to find it. Cheers.
If Saint Francis doesn't get awarded at least an MBE in the New Year's Honours List, it will be a national disgrace.
Crikey chaps. Anyone would think I'm a pretty old fellow. With no bucket collection yesterday my £20 is burning a hole in my pocket. I can't pay with a mobile telephone as I don't have one and I am uneasy about making payments over the internet. So can anyone tell me how can I give my £20 to Franny?
I don't think Franny's Livewire organisation have helped themselves too much because they haven't organised a non-techy way of donating. Of course, you could go into any Cancer Research shop and put your money across the counter and tell them it's for Benali's Big Run, but I doubt if it will be counted, and may not even get to it. And if we look at his website we can see that he's only managed 11% of his target. I said very early on that he wasn't getting the numbers in, despite all those signed shirts. It hasn't really energised people, like it could have, and I fear now that it might not, which will be a great shame. The national media proper need to get hold of this. BBC Sport, on Southampton's local page had an Ex-footballer runs for charity headline. Doesn't really getting them standing up in the aisles, does it: https://www.justgiving.com/benalisbigrun/ All I can suggest St.G is that you find a way of paying, or get yourself a Paypal account. That is more secure than carrying money or cards around in your pocket. Plus, you can pay for things over the net.
Well here is one Saints fan who not only made a donation but did it electronically too. I just hope nobody raids my bank account now. I would like to think that every Saints fan has made a donation.
Oh bugger. I've just lifted the lid of my scanner and the twenty pounds is still there. What do I do now?

According to Godders, there wasn't one, as he has £20 in crisp white fivers still to donate. Uoto 6,012 now.
