Oh well, the premier league are just going to have to deal with it. The whole footballing world doesn't revolve around them, despite what they may think. More likely, they'll throw their toys out the pram. Fitting behaviour for a league of primadonnas

Strange to see anyone take the side of FIFA on this. Do you not think the rest of Europe will be annoyed by this too? There's a pretty good reason for them to be. None of us should be dealing with this. A corrupt organization wants to hold the world's biggest tournament at a **** location at the wrong time of year.

Why don't one of the other bidding nations host an alternative 'non-FIFA' world cup. Exactly the same, maybe called 'The World Trophy' and have its own qualifying groups etc. All boycott the world cup 2022. Job done.

I have a feeling there will be some sort of a big rebellion at some point.

Same, 9 years is a lot of time and Blatter will be gone before then. Qatar can't do air conditioned stadiums? No problems, just restart the bidding. They can even go again with their winter tournament if they want, I don't care. Frustrating that people like Jim Boyce don't say more, he must know things.
