I'm amazed that he is serious about city in Europe though tbh.
I'm not saying it will never happen but is that not emotional blackmailing? I mean we are still far away from that, meaning we need even better players. So we can't sustain a club whose target is survival at the minute how can he sustain one seeking europe?
I think at the moment we can only hope that he knows some rich fella willing to invest only in a club named Hull tigers.
But anyways overall I think it pretty much panned out the way I expected. Which is why I wasn't heavily against the name change. Because it's his business and he calls THOSE shots. The shots we can call is to decide whether to give the club any of our money. Which most of us would not stop doing. He has by the balls really. Even if we find a way to show him that we mean business and that he needs us just as much as we need him, it wouldn't work cause we'd be harming him and our club.
At this point in time, I feel we should step back a bit, let's see what if his brilliant plan works and if it doesn't then really get on his back.
I mean if he left would we really not be able to find other investors?
I think a small club getting into Europe can be a disaster because they don't have the depth of playing squad required.
I don't wish anybody dead but I can't see Allam being around for a long time. He's the same age as David Dimbleby but I think Dimbleby has the edge in a functioning brain.
