That's the most ridiculous comment you've made today. I've met her many times, lets just say that pic is kind to her...

Right then, Sportstalk is on now, let's see what the response is going to be...

Dr Allam wants us to be in europe in the next few years. We need the acadamy improving. It all costs money. Anyone with losts of cash is free to buy the club and keep the status quo.

Listening to the interview again, he sounds even more stupid with every listen.

Now that is something he is not. He might not know about football but as a business man nobody on here can touch him.

Robo I completely agree he should have been allowed to get the stadium and hate our council as much as you do. I don't think it makes Allam's actions acceptable though. The two things don't need to be related, only Allam has suggested they are which is nonsense.

I wish they'd have let him buy the stadium as his plans were amazing, but I can certainly imagine he was impossible to deal with and probably as bad as the council themselves during those discussions.

I am sure that there is blame on both sides, both sides have aired their linen in public which is wrong, however the question now is how do we find an answer to the problem.
I still believe that AA is not going to change his stance on the City name unless he gets the KC one way or another, therefore I would urge the supporters to act as one and put pressure on the council and the club to come to an agreement. At the moment all the pressure seems to be against the club/Allam and in my opinion this is where we are going wrong as it is splitting opinions instead of uniting it.

Pressure should indeed be put on the HCC. They have caused all this over the KC stadium issue.

The HCC dont have 2 pots to piss in nevermind maintain the KC or improve it.

How have the council caused it? They don't have to sell to him, especially when he's not even offered anything. He wants it for virtually nowt ffs!

Neither did anybody think he'd kick off in this way, like a spoilt little kid when he didn't get his own way.

Assem's interview yesterday has confirmed the sad fact that I think many of us were previously reluctant to admit; he's completely deluded, ignorant and downright arrogant. Whilst I previously chose to direct my anger only towards his decision to re-brand the club, the events of the past two days mean that my anger will now be directed towards Assem himself. We've been systematically lied to and alienated by the club, that is no way to treat one's fans.

This is precisely the point that I've been trying, and failing, to make. Watching AA and the council alienate each other is one thing, watching AA and the fans alienate each other is something completely different, and much more dangerous for all parties concerned IMHO

I cant believe the contempt he is showing to the City fans .

I was always one foot in the "let him have a go at the rebranding" camp
but it was on the basis that he could show clear financial benefits .
Its obvious he cant , but more annoying he doesnt seem to care either way

He wants his way , whatever it may be however goofy his scheme is
