Preston had pushed to sign Drameh, offered him a 4 year contract but would not meet our asking price. Although I think this was before news broke of transfer restrictions, but shows we both want to keep him here and aren’t just letting everyone leave?

I'd let him go, I know he's had a couple of decent pre-season games but he has brain fart moments pretty much every game and it costs you. After 70 Championship appearances you'd have hoped that rashness would've left his game by now.

are you mad? He’s performed really well in preseason has a clear high ceiling and we have an injured Coyle plus a transfer embargo… again I will repeat myself… ARE YOU MAD?

If he's as bad as you say, how come other clubs are wanting to sign him? Derby are interested and so are others

We 100% need forwards, but the club's recruitment team are in such a tricky position. The EFL taking ages to hear our appeal means we don't know what market we're in. Imagine if we signed a couple of strikers on a free who aren't really at a good enough level, then our fee restriction is suspended/removed?

In the ridiculous situation (owner inflicted of course) we find ourselves in, it makes sense to wait for the outcome before going wild with signings surely?

There's sod all chance of getting the restrictions removed this window. So we know which market we are in for now and the market for free's isn't getting any bigger.

Talking of free's didn't we put out a complete side of free's under Dolan?

I agree with the people saying it's obviously not practical to sell him right now but I do think you make a good point about him as a player. He is rash, and he does give the ball away an awful lot. There's always a clamour for him to play more because he's still got that shiny new toy feeling due to not playing that much for us. City fans get bored of players the longer they're here and always struggle to accept that a newer one isn't necessarily better than a long servant.

i think its time to revolutionise the game

introducing, the 4 centre back system
i call it ' the square'
no silly fancy dan full backs who think theyre wingers but are just worse than actual wingers
all the right angles will be defended

Drameh is given the benefit because he's being compared in position with someone else whoa you are either for or against.
