I think these are the three were most desperate for. Midfield is really weak, the poorest we’ve had for some time. Striker is obvious, I’d argue we need two though as opposed to one and we’ve lost our 2 wide players so they essentially need replacing for the season. Hopefully some good loans are on offer.

So what you're saying is, two goalkeepers and an 18 year old on loan from Bristol City. I like this, Gaz, I'm liking this a lot.

Absolutely he is. With the ban, I'd assume he'd cost peanuts and with first refusal we'd be mad not to get him.

Almost certain his ban will be reduced and he'll only miss this season so we should be buying him for sure

I think we should get the deal done. At the risk of repeating myself, at the season start a podcast with two South American experts on said that Zambrano could be the next Caicedo. he's that good. As with Puerta, I dont think we saw enough, but what I saw I thought he was excellent./

Believe they do, and a sell-on. Would have been great value regardless, he's a gun. I remember being at a game Adelaide v Western Sydney with a mate who used to do the podcast back in 2023 comparing him to Jaden and even then we both thought he had a higher ceiling, and he signed for Bayern six months later.
