In addition to this, it's been well publicised that we were under some sort of EFL probationary supervision process in terms of our spending since the takeover. If we have somehow been able to spend ourselves into oblivion despite that then that's another element of weirdness to the story.

are we ****ed or not
i dont even know what to think

Thanks for clearing this up
Can I ask how your so sure there’s no interested parties?
Because there's not a single shred of evidence. Not one.
Only self harm posters undermining the club during a critical week.
Caveat, just for clarity .... of course, maybe out there in the wide world might be a person, some people, a consortium or two that, were we for sale, are interested in buying us. What I'm meaning is there is not one single shred of evidence for some that are currently going all in on this line that Acun is actively looking to get out and even part way along the process, nor for those swallowing it and wetting their beds. In fact, the evidence / facts we do know point to the dead opposite. Of course, at some point that may change. Only TWT (there you go AYP).

Either way, we've committed a lot of money to players who have been absolutely ****e investments for one reason or another, and we stand on the brink of relegation having spent a significant amount on the team which was in a better position than this in the first place.

Whether or not the money adds up to enough to cause us existential issues, disciplinary issues or lead to prolonged chaos and decline, **** knows. But it's a shambles either way.

What you mean is you've not seen anything, that doesn't mean there isn't any. You have your opinion based of what you haven't seen. Others have their opinion based on what they have seen.

Hopefully myself and others are wrong.

Don't forget that because we paid too much for under performing players we couldn't afford an end of season do for them.

Can you explain why we are so doomed based on what you’re hearing? Per our last published accounts we had net liabilities of £32 million with most of it owed to group undertakings, Acun has always said we’d spend to FFP limits so the Balance sheet was always going to look bad. During this financial year we’ve sold £35 million of players and spent £20 million ish, the club has worked with the EFL to navigate FFP so what has gone wrong?

This is what I struggle with. We're working with the Efl ticking off each signing so how could we be this deep in the ****?

You can't be wrong, you said it's the truth.

Unless everyone treats what's been 'leaked' on here as fact then you've got that all completely backwards. This is what I'm talking about in earlier posts. Officially all we KNOW is that players have been paid late but within their contractual obligations. That's literally it.

Literally everything else is hearsay until it's either not, or it goes away.

Question, what have you seen? Not 'what have you been told?' - What have you 'seen'?

Correct me if I’m wrong but Tan said this probationary period was for the first 3 years which we have now passed.

Aside from this. PSR isn’t fit for purpose. If we are by definition within the means of being PSR compliant but racking up debt out the wazoo it’s a damnation on the whole process if it’s true. Either that or we’ve tried to game it. Failed horribly and now we are going to potentially suffer regardless

To be fair with accounts being one year off we do have the fact that we were spending £130 per £100 on wages and losing 500k a week. Where that is currently remains to be seen but I doubt the needle has moved much given how much we spent on transfers in recent windows

I remember an interview with Tan last year where he said they had someone from the EFL overseeing every transaction for the first 3 years of ownership to ensure they weren’t ’crazy foreign owners’ If that’s the case how have they allowed us to get into this situation?

‘self harm posters undermining the club’

God, you’re a sanctimonious prick.
