HDM article, I'm sure someone more clever than me could post link, but;
FA Cup finalists to promotion winners: A dozen ex-Hull City stars available for free
Hundreds of players, including some familiar faces, are currently free agents ahead of the 2020-21 season;
Tom Huddlestone, James Chester, Dean Marney, Oumar Niasse, Vito Mannone, David Stockdale, Jack Hobbs, Will Atkinson, Danny Graham, Marc Pugh, Chris Martin, Will Keane.

I'd quite like the sound of Huddlestone as Player/Manager, James Chester could be useful organising a defence line up, Marc Pugh still got something in the tank, and could show our current leaderless rabble how it's done. Even Mannone at 32, still young for a goalkeeper and better than current incumbents? I know, a girl can day dream.....

I'm sure the business brains of Ehab, Darnborough and McCann have it all in hand......

From that list alone Chester would be ideal for our back 4 .. would teach them how to read the game

I’d have most of them back in a heartbeat. Chester and Pugh could sort out the defence, Hudd could show them how to read the game and make a pass, Niasse the big man that actually scored the occasional goal. Jak only if we got the latter version that made heroic saves.

I saw part of the Rangers match at the weekend. McGregor still looks like Mr Angry, he’d never tolerate our current shambles of a defence in front of him. Punches would be thrown on the pitch, never mind the dressing room.

Ehab really is a uber c***. He should have learnt everything he needed to know about recruitment under Bruce. Our Preston model doesn’t seem to be working does he Ehor.

All of a sudden he realises that his players he’s fumbled together on the cheap hasn’t worked because they are too young? Any recruitment or manager worth his salt would know this.

Apparently they tried to sign him in January but failed to get the deal done, now they're back in for him and we're "prepared to let him go".
Understandable as far as his career is concerned. Great family lifestyle too... (albeit the US is a scary place atm)

His original dream was to play in England. He’s been poor this season, but I still think under the right manager he could play at a decent level here. It would be a waste of his undoubted talent in my opinion if he went to America.

He’s not going to get either properly coached & developed nor showcased while he’s at City under current arrangements, so going to MLS is probably an attractive option.

He could move to a decent team in the Championship. If he performed there’s no reason why he couldn’t make the PL. The MLS I’d swerve until much later in my career. It seems to be a ‘one last pay day’ type of league.
